Toi Ora Live Art Trust
Toi Ora is a creative space located in the heart of Auckland city providing innovation and leadership in the field of creativity in mental health recovery. We bridge the gap for people who come into contact with mental health and other support services, through the exploration of creativity as a proven means to enhance recovery and maintain well-being. Our programme of workshops, classes, and exhibitions support people to develop their strengths and potential in the arts in a safe, non-institutional environment. Toi Ora provides an array of visual arts, writing, performance, music and recording classes that are tutored by professional practitioners with experience and/or an understanding of the issues surrounding mental health. A range of art materials, equipment and resources are available. Toi Ora’s framework of engagement ensures that the creative environment is safe for our artists and staff: physically, emotionally and culturally. Our class timetables and structure support artists to develop stable and reliable routines, which are vital and contribute to positive mental health outcomes. The artists focus on specific activities allowing them to concentrate on one task at a time. Artists exercise control over their actions and manage their time. They can slow down or speed up in a safe and supportive environment. They can work independently and seek support based on their individual experience and their creative endeavours. The results are immediate, giving the artist a strong sense of self-management of their own wellbeing. The time spent at Toi Ora can offer release from daily reminders of mental distress. People participating in creative work improve their social and cultural bonds by connecting with a diverse community. They all have a common interest in the arts. People have expressed that Toi Ora provides them with moments of “Flow”, accomplishment and hope. Overall, many participating artists express gratitude for Toi Ora's programme.

Interactionz
Interactionz helps individuals, organisations, and businesses to imagine the future they want and create plans to reach their goals – but we do it differently! Our experienced facilitators and illustrators use visual planning tools to help you to think about your goals, then bring them to life by hand-drawing them for you on large sheets of paper as you watch. The process is very engaging and people feel comfortable sharing their ideas. Visual plans are memorable – especially when they’re pinned to the bedroom or boardroom wall. Interactionz is a charity which began in 1967 to support disabled people. We recognise that some people need a little extra help to reach their goals, and our mentors help them live their best lives by providing opportunities to explore what a good life means to them, and to experience that life. Having a person’s plan to follow helps us give the support they want. Interactionz is a community builder. We share our learning and development experiences with like-minded community organisations to develop their teams’ skills and services for wider community impact. By educating others, we reach the largest number of people in the shortest possible time. Visit our website to see what we offer.

Phase One Ventures
We are an early stage founder community first and foremost. We consist of three parts, a community, a product and growth incubating programme and a fund. Our vision is an even happier New Zealand with a thriving & vibrant startup ecosystem. We commit to founders by helping them lay the foundations for truly high growth companies. We do this by helping them achieve product market fit, crystallize a vision and identify growth engines. We also help with company building (people and funding strategies). Through our programme we connect “been there, done that” operators with the next wave of high-growth New Zealand startups and founders. A product and growth mentor catches up with a startup every two weeks to keep progressing on the journey to minimum lovable product. This takes time, so we expect this relationship to last minimum a year. Our community of founders are awesome. At Phase One, we work hard to nurture an environment that our founders feel comfortable to share, connect and help each other as they learn and achieve so much in pursuit of their missions. We do this through fortnightly expert sessions, social catchups and biweekly office hours. We provide this support pro bono and will invest into the companies that make good progress on those first three steps. We believe that by helping these companies grow, it creates even more opportunity for all New Zealanders. If you are an early stage Kiwi founder (or basically have not hit MLP)- look forward to chatting!

Employment support quickly followed, as there were two ways to correct a budget - cut spending and increase income. Kingdom Resources' aim is to provide a hand-up, not a hand-out. Kick Back
Kick Back is a #YouthDevelopment and #SocialJustice org innovating for change and kicking back against the idea that any YP is to at risk to love! We are kicking back against the idea that any young person belongs in the too hard basket. In fact, we don’t even think the thing exists. We’re a Youth Development and Social Justice movement innovating for change and kicking back against the status quo. Our mission? To do our part in the fight to end the injustice of homelessness that is facing our rangatahi! You see, we have this crazy idea that no young person is too “at-risk” to Love. That Love takes risks. That healing, transformation, change, it happens when we have the courage to step into solidarity with one another. That Love goes further, it seeks out the forgotten places, the rejected spaces, it goes to those whom society has chosen to ignore. Those who have been marginalised by the systems and structures we’ve designed to serve the majority. That Love seeks out the margins, sets camp in the gaps, refusing to accept the unacceptable within society. And youth homelessness is unacceptable. No young person should ever experience homelessness within Aotearoa. No child should be without a home. No rangatahi should be on our streets.
