World Creativity Day

On 1 May 2017, the United Nations General Assembly published the Resolution 71/284, recognizing that citizens and organizations around the world already observed a day to celebrate Creativity since 2002. WCD is a global purpose driven community founded by the psychologist and social entrepreneur Lucas Foster, to accomplish the Resolution 71/284 adopted by the UN General Assembly on 27, Apr 2017. Lucas Foster started to celebrate creativity with an event called World Creativity Day in 17 November 2014, in São Paulo, Brazil. In 2018, World Creativity Day reached people in 14 cities from north to south of the country with more than 360 hours of content. In 2019, the World Day of Creativity, created by Foster, will be held in 50 cities in Brazil and also in Portugal, Germany and Serbia.
