Ilbirs Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to conserving Kyrgyzstan’s unique biodiversity, with a focus on snow leopards and mountain ecosystems. Founded in 2016, we combine scientific research, community engagement, and policy support to protect wildlife while promoting sustainable livelihoods in high mountain regions. Our work spans wildlife conservation, environmental education, and applied research on climate change and rare species, strengthening both local stewardship and international collaboration for nature conservation in Kyrgyzstan.
