Naturemind-Ed
NatureMind-Ed, as a social enterprise, leads transdisciplinary community-based biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration projects with the aim of building social-ecological resilience in Southern Thailand whereby nature and society interweave in a regenerative manner. The programmes, research projects, workshops, events and activities we lead are community-based and transdisciplinary. As such community engagement, transformative learning and participatory processes are central tenets of our projects’ implementation contributing to project outcome sustainability via increased community ownership and stewardship, contextualized social innovation towards natural resource adaptive management and diversified income sources. Transdisciplinary ecosystem restoration research implies embracing epistemological pluralism and acknowledging the multiple ways of knowing used by the myriad of actors involved in a project in order to co-design effective and sustainable solutions. Accordingly, we rely on a large portfolio of methods and tools ranging from quantitative ecology, i.e. biodiversity assessments, environmental sciences and geospatial analyses to qualitative approaches involving social sciences and humanities. The strong expertise and experience in facilitation our team has developed over the years while creating experiential education programs, provide us with strong assets to successfully implement participatory methodologies such as participatory rural appraisal, participatory mapping, natural resources calendars and many other participatory protocols. Finally one of our team’s main strength is its creative potential and genuine heart centered community partnership development approach. We use photography, film and other visual arts as well as serious games to engage with our community partners or other stakeholder in an authentic way, ensuring lasting relationship can be built and embracing our role as community resilience brokers.

Somboon Legacy Foundation
An ethical Hands-Off elephant sanctuary in Kanchanaburi, Thailand Somboon Legacy Foundation is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) that takes care of old elephants. Our organization was founded by Khun Kulsak Chotiyaputta, Agnes Tammenga, Diana Harinck and Manouk Maas from the Netherlands on the 13th of March 2019, Thailand's National Elephant Day. Our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate elephants from a life of stress and exploitation. Currently, we are taking care of two beautiful females, Kammoon and Malee. When the covid-19 pandemic improves we hope to give more elephants a well deserved retirement. We aim to work together with the local community as much as possible. With our visitors we focus on observing the elephants in their natural environment and giving education in our interactive elephant museum for young & old. Our goal is to spread the message of truly animal friendly tourism around the world. To find out more, check out our website!

Save Elephant Foundation
Save Elephant Foundation is a Thai non-profit organization working to protect Asian elephants and promote compassionate, sustainable living. Founded by renowned conservationist Saengduean “Lek” Chailert, the foundation has grown into a regional movement dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, education, and ethical tourism. Our flagship project, Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand, provides a safe haven for elephants rescued from the logging, entertainment, and street begging industries. Here, elephants are given the chance to heal—physically and emotionally—in a natural and peaceful environment. But our work doesn’t stop there. Save Elephant Foundation supports and operates projects across Southeast Asia. In Laos, we partner with local sanctuaries to provide safe land and freedom for rescued elephants. In Cambodia, we co-manage the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary—protecting over acres of forest and offering refuge to elephants and other endangered species. In India, we collaborate with local organizations to improve elephant welfare and share knowledge that leads to systemic change. Our mission is rooted in compassion—for animals, communities, and the environment. We believe that through education, hands-on rescue, and community empowerment, we can create a future where elephants and humans live in harmony. Every life matters. And with the support of volunteers, partners, and ethical travellers from around the world, we continue working toward a kinder world for all. Join us—because the future of elephants depends on the actions we take today.

Science Conservation Centre For Art Scicca , Chulalongkorn University, Thailand
SCICCA is committed to advancing knowledge in art conservation. More than just a facility equipped with cutting-edge scientific tools and offering analytical services for artworks and cultural artifacts, SCICCA acts as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, training, and knowledge sharing. In addition to our conservation and analytical services, our mission encompasses offering educational opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and specialized training, for professionals in the art and conservation fields. By establishing robust networks and encouraging cross-sector cooperation, we strive to elevate conservation practices in Thailand to align with international standards. Central to our efforts is a profound respect and affection for cultural heritage. We consistently recognize that conservation extends beyond technical aspects—it is a duty to safeguard the legacy of previous generations and ensure its preservation for future ones. We believe this knowledge should not be confined to scientists, conservators, or academics alone. It should be disseminated to the broader society to cultivate awareness, understanding, and, most importantly, appreciation for the cultural treasures that shape our nation's identity.
