Conservation South Luangwa Csl
Since 2003, Conservation South Luangwa (CSL) has worked in partnership with Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) on the frontline of wildlife conservation and human-wildlife conflict mitigation in the South Luangwa Valley. CSL works to protect the hectares of largely intact wilderness in eastern Zambia that make up the South Luangwa National Park and the surrounding game management areas. CSL practises a multi-faceted approach to wildlife resource management and protection, working in collaboration with DNPW and alongside local partners and stakeholders in the Luangwa ecosystem to implement ground and helicopter patrols, aerial surveillance patrols, sniffer dog detection and tracking activities, wildlife rescues and community veterinary work, and human-wildlife coexistence community programmes.

Alinea Network Organisation
Across Africa, grassroots or home grown organisations are the trusted backbone of conservation, embedded in communities, mandated by local authorities, and protecting the landscapes and wildlife they call home. Yet they are often under-resourced and expected to deliver without the structural support larger institutions enjoy. Alinea exists to change that. We are a strategic, systems-level platform that strengthens, connects, and supports the broader conservation ecosystem. We reinforce local leadership, ensuring well-placed grassroots partners have the governance, tools, and financial alignment to thrive. We also support donors and funders by de-risking investment, rigorously vetting partners, strengthening governance, and aligning compliance so funding can flow securely and confidently to those best placed to deliver lasting impact. We believe in systems where communities are not only stakeholders, but implementors of their own destinies, leading the conservation efforts that affect them most. We build shared systems, inspire innovation, and foster high-trust coalitions. Our networks build networks, reducing duplication, increasing resilience, and opening pathways for collaboration. We are the partner organisations and donors can lean on for security, guidance, and support, building resilient, ethical, and impactful organisations so that every investment is secure and transformative.
