A NEW IOWA LEGEND BUILT ON AN OLD IOWA LEGACY As it was so famously put -"Is this Heaven? No - it's Iowa." At Wildcat Distilling, Co, we can understand how that question could be asked. While all four members of the founding team have deep roots in the farming communities of Iowa, two of our members, brother, and sister Brad & Alissa Lemke, were lucky enough to grow up on a beautiful farm just outside of the small town of Duncombe, Iowa - where our distillery now stands. Raised on the farm owned by our grandparents, as children, we were always intrigued by the “Wildcat Cave” found deep in our timber, and the centuries of carvings & history that cover it. A gorgeous limestone formation carved out of the sandstone bluffs by the creek running below, our grandparents would tell us stories about the mountain lions & bobcats who gave the cave its name, and whose dens we were careful not to disturb. When we were older, we were told about the speakeasy in a barn that supposedly stood on the top of the cave during the days of prohibition. It was well known that the rich, black soil of our farm and the farmlands around grew some of the finest corn in the area. Once distilled, this same grain was known to create some of the smoothest liquor, too. Coincidence? We think not. Among the legends, one of our favorite stories was the rumor whispered in the nearby towns that outlaws Bonnie & Clyde once took refuge in the cave during their infamous run through Iowa. We may never know for sure, but if the story is true – we’d like to think that they enjoyed some of that smooth Iowa corn moonshine during their time there. Even though many years have passed since we've heard the stories, we’ve maintained the love of our land & our intrigue in the legends. Whether or not the lore is true, liquor and wildcats seem to be tied to our land. This is why we’ve created Wildcat Distilling, Co. – to honor the past while creating and bringing a piece of a New Iowa Legend to you.

Larrikin Bourbon
Founded by U.S. and Australian Navy Combat Veteran, Greg Keeley - Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co. produces Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Rye Whiskies. Our products, including the One Cask Series (bourbon & rye) and the 10x10 Rye are made cask strength, single barrel and unfiltered. Distilling has been (officially) going on in Lawrenceburg, KY since 1820. Distilleries such as Anderson County Distilling, Old Ripy and S. Searcy & Co. all produced sought after whiskeys. Those distilleries are long gone, we have no whimsical, historical, or indeed fanciful ties to those local pioneers. What we do have is a love of bourbon and we embraced this long and storied bourbon heritage as we built Lawrenceburg Bourbon Company. Our initial offerings are by necessity sourced (try as we might, we simply couldn’t age bourbon 6 years in 24 months). Sometimes it may be just 3 barrels, sometimes fifty -our mission has been to hunt down the best bourbon and rye available in Kentucky, resting them as needed, before hand bottling and labelling. We are working hard behind the scenes to have our very own Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co. distillery operational in 2023. We believe the best whiskey is uncut and unfiltered. Small batch, single cask and undiluted.

Manifest currently produces organic gin infused with classic and new world botanicals, organic barrel-aged gin, non-GMO potato vodka, naturally flavored Florida citrus vodka, and organic straight rye whiskey. Manifest focuses on creating balanced, world-class spirits that embody their origin story. Each of the five products in distribution respects the roots from which it came with a contemporary twist. No additives, sweeteners, chemicals or synthetic flavorings are used in the production process. Each spirit is made in a batch environment with the ability to track ingredients all the way back to their origin and lot number. The spirits were made specifically with cocktails in mind: bold, balanced, price sensitive, and absolutely gorgeous.
