Destination Central West (DNCW) is one of seven Destination Networks responsible for driving the growth of the visitor economy to regional NSW. DNCW was set up in July 2022 to recognise and represent the diversity of the Central West NSW region which includes the Local Government Areas of: Oberon, Lithgow, Mid-Western, Bathurst, Orange, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Weddin, Parkes, Forbes and Lachlan. DNCO was created by the NSW Government through Destination NSW (DNSW) in 2016 and has been established to assist building the capacity of industry and strengthen the visitor economy of the Country and Outback NSW. We build and maintain relationships with our stakeholders and offer assistance and support where required.

Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation Jabiru Town
Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation Jabiru Town (GACJT) holds the new township lease over Jabiru and administers sub-leases and licences for the many businesses and government services located in Jabiru. GACJT is an Indigenous corporation whose members are the Mirarr People, the Traditional Owners and Native Title Holders for Jabiru. The existence of GACJT ensures that income from the township lease benefits the Mirrar’s economic and community development. It is incorporated under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth). It is essential to GACJT that its strategic direction aligns with and allows for the achievement of the aspirations of the traditional owners to protect culture and to ensure that Bininj are in control of their country and the future of Jabiru. GACJT’s Board consists of four senior Mirarr directors as well as two independent directors. Its membership is comprised of Mirarr traditional Aboriginal owners.
