We are an innovative Jewish historical institute that uses new technologies to preserve Jewish memory - and we use those same technologies to bring Jewish history to life. Centropa believes there is so much more to our 20th century European Jewish heritage than Holocaust. Our goal was to visit 1,200 elderly Jews-from Tallinn to Istanbul, from St Petersburg to Bucharest, and ask them to share with us stories of the entire 20th century. We never used video in our interviews. Instead, we digitized privately-held old photographs and documents-and then made them available, free of charge, online. Now we are creating multimedia films that are being shown in international film festivals on four continents. Formula Student Symposium

Formula Student has always been an educational event with a motorsport theme. Hundreds of teams all around the world perform at their best in car development, project management and interdisciplinary fields that are essential to build a single-seater formula racecar and successfully participate in an engineering design competition. Even though the accomplishment and recognition of all their work is normally delivered during the competitions, a constant demand for new inputs and advices on racecar design from leading experts also exists. Considering this interest, the Audi Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering at Széchenyi István University has been organizing Formula Student Symposium with highly recognized speakers from motorsport for the past couple of years. These past two years however have been vastly different in many ways. The coronavirus pandemic swept away a part of our normal lives and also rewrote the way we think about events, while the academic world has also moved to teaching and working together using digital technologies. First and foremost we are delighted to be able to welcome everyone back at Győr, on a live and physical event. It’s hard to put it into words how eager we are to finally see all the bright talents again and to relive the atmosphere of the previous live events. However, we are aware that many people are unable to travel such distances, or it simply would not make sense financially or time-wise. Therefore, we decided to create a hybrid event for 2022. This means that while we are absolutely happy to welcome as many people in Győr as we possibly can, we will provide the opportunity for people to join in online for our plenary presentations from the comfort of their home. We sincerely believe that this is the best of both worlds, and we are looking forward to this year’s event!

The Game Changer Project

The GC project: Creating science-based online games and activities for maximizing the long run well-being of people in transition situation through skills development, while working on the accreditation of educators in the field. The GC project started in 19 September 2016 and will go on until 18 November 2018; in sum it will be running for 26 months, in total. The GC project is based on Self-Regulatory Skills (SRS) science that refers to both unconscious and conscious processes that affect the ability to control responses. Self-regulation is often thought of as a dual process – cognitive and social-emotional. The GC project is targeted to all, but especially to people in transition situation; disadvantaged and at-risk groups frequently are those facing big life changes, for whom successful transition is a basic requirement for a decent participation in life. The GC project is using an online, gamified platform, accessible from anywhere, anytime, for training, playing and learning online in order to develop personal and employability skills with the support of accredited social operators, in an web-based community.

Utazo Planetarium Ltd./ Travelling Planetarium, Budapest - a Mobile Planetarium provider We providing planetarium shows onsite for educational institutes (schools and nursery schools) in Hungary. In the last 5 Years we had total aprox. attendees/visitors. In our team most of the colleagues are astrophysicist researchers and teachers. Our target is to get the children know the astrophysics better. We are the oldest Hungarian Mobile Planetarium provider who decided to introduce the astronomy and the nature sciences to the children/scholars all around Hungary. Unfortunately there are only few operating planetariums in Hungary. We are the only one in Budapest who is open for public and we do not have a fix showroom, only occasional shows at museums, festivals. Mainly we travel to schools and nursery schools for giving planetarium shows. That means that generally we provide only some planetarium shows and presentations by age range (3-6 years, 6-12 years and 12+). Over this we already had several occasional open public (free) show days for museum days, fairies, astronomy day, National Academy day, children's day on countryside. On these days we provide different shows hour by hour. This is the reason why I am searching for new scientific shows. Studium Generale

A Studium Generale egy non-profit szervezet, amely 1970 óta működik. Tagjai a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem hallgatói, akik évről évre több ezer diákot készítenek fel ingyenesen az érettségire; matematika, történelem és közgazdaságtan tantárgyakból. Oktatásaink szombatonként zajlanak az egyetem budapesti és székesfehérvári kampuszán, 40-60 fős szemináriumi csoportokban. A vidéki diákjaink számára e-leraning formában biztosítjuk a felkészülést. A szombati tanításokon kívül, táborokkal, próbaérettségikkel és egyéb lehetőségekkel támogatjuk diákjainkat. Nagyobb programjaink közé tartozik a végzős diákok számára, minden évben tárgyanként megrendezésre kerülő Maraton, ahol körülbelül diák vesz részt- 150 fős csapat - 24 szombati tanítás - 55 év tapasztalat - 3 próbaérettségi - 3 maraton - 2 tábor
