Learnobots
LearnOBots was founded in 2014 aiming to revolutionize education, help students become Inventors and Makers of tomorrow instead of producing batch after batch of consumers and followers. We offer hands-on training to kids in the domains of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEM). Through our workshops and educational kits we help kids to identify their passion and channel it into a productive hobby; make exciting stuff, create new things and find solutions to real-life problems. Our goal is to make good scientists, engineers, and innovators because we believe that they are the key to our bright future. They drive the nation’s innovation and competitiveness by generating new ideas, new companies, and new industries. LearnObots was founded to address the following needs: STEM-based learning at the school/college level is very popular around the world but we are still very behind. In this rapidly growing tech world where we hear of new inventions every other day, a gap is increasing day by day between the new technologies being introduced in the world and our academia. A way is needed to cope with the rapidly changing market dynamics. There should be ways to apply classroom knowledge to solving real-life problems. There is difficulty while choosing a career because of no idea of the field one wants to go in. There should be a way that lets the students identify their passion and channel it into a productive hobby which can, later on, result in an intelligent career choice. There are very few productive activities and hobby clubs available for our kids in Pakistan. A platform is needed where intelligent people with common interests can come, share their ideas and Make exciting stuff together. A platform to practice ‘Do it yourself’ Maker culture

Cedar College
As higher education becomes more and more competitive, A Level schools are moving to a more result-oriented outlook. A new A level school hovers on the horizon today, ready to challenge this traditional style of teaching. Cedar College is the brainchild of a group of teachers who were disillusioned with the general state of pedagogy at A Level schools in the country. They got together and designed their ideal school – a school where the CIE curriculum, technology, extracurricular activities, and liberal arts are juxtaposed to make holistic learning happen. This school has designed its curriculum keeping in mind the top undergraduate colleges. A Cedar student is confident, well spoken and well rounded. She gets good grades not because she memorized the curriculum but because she was taught to internalize learning. She has primary and supplementary knowledge of subjects and can think and speak beyond the typical curriculum. She is aware of her talents and interests and has been given the opportunity to pursue them. Above all, she is someone who can succeed because she has self-belief and self-confidence. We hope more schools like this crop up everywhere in Pakistan.

Cadet College Hasanabdal
Cadet College Hasan Abdal, being the first institution of its kind in Pakistan, has been a trend-setter in the field of quality boarding schools meant for boys. In its history of over sixty years, its graduates have not only contributed tremendously in the national mainstream, many have moved across frontiers, and are now playing their roles at the global level. Above all, being a trailblazer, the institution has helped set the blueprints of milliard of institutions, which have followed in its wake. A well-rounded personality, built around the core values of character, integrity, intellectual superiority and commitment have always been at the center-stage of our grooming at Hasan Abdal. That’s why our graduates have always managed to survive in some of the most hostile conditions of fiercest competition and of formidable adversity. They have always managed to fight their way to the top and have led from the front, because that’s how they have been prepared and conditioned during their highly impressionable years of adolescent youth here. Their natural propensities for effective teamwork and strong communication skills actually draw from the years of intimate comradeship developed in the dorms of their Wings here, and from the moments of mind-blowing sporting glory experienced at the Winlaw’s sports ground. Their eloquence and intellectual robustness are nothing but the reflection of their insightful and heated discourses in the class theaters of Ayub block, or during the after-dinner strolls around the Scholar’s Walk. The BOGs have recently christened The CCH roads/facilities, and the College sports grounds have been named after the Second British Principal, Mr A.W.E Winlaw. The road around the Oval, has been named as The Scholar’s Walk.
