Youth Proudly Space Initiative Ypsi
About Us The Youth Proudly Space Initiative (YPSI) is a youth-led, non-partisan national organization founded in 2021 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2016. It is officially registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) in South Sudan. Reg. No: 4363 The Youth Proudly Space Initiative (YPSI) was established by a group of ambitious young people living in Juba as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). As survivors of the civil wars of 2013 and 2016, the founders recognized the urgent need to reduce the traumatic impact of conflict on youth. They initiated mentorship and coaching programs focusing on personal development, leadership, peace building, and conflict resolution, countering domestic violence, and combating disinformation. The organization is dedicated to supporting marginalized youth and communities—including refugees, displaced persons, women, and children—by providing educational opportunities, mentorship, and access to sustainable income-generating skills. Vision We envision a world where youth have the opportunity to learn new skills and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of their economic and social well-being. Mission To create a viable world of skills and promote equitable technical learning for thousands of underprivileged youths in South Sudan and beyond by the year 2030.
