International Student Services
The International Student Services (ISS) is a regional organization that facilitates the student’s enrollment for international studies. The precursor of the International Students Services is set up to conduct functions such as administration, planning, liaison, and coordination of international student exchange programs. The International Student Services is responsible for sending and receiving students to or from other countries and the handling of financial aid for international students. It is also involved in study trip planning and the coordination of vocational programs.

Access Benin
The African Centre for Career Enhancement & Skills Support (ACCESS) is an initiative spearheaded by Leipzig University and jointly implemented by a consortium of six African universities in Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tunisia to investigate the stagnant labor market in Africa despite the increasing level of education of its countries’ citizens. Within this project's framework, we develop and implement new teaching models with the aim to increase employability for African students. In cooperation with our six African partner universities, we also seek to increase the opportunities for African students in the global labor market by connecting them with companies that can use their expertise. Leveraging existing collaborations between Leipzig University and its African partner universities, ACCESS seeks to create a practice-oriented platform for African Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), development cooperation partners, business associations, and agencies in the Global South. ACCESS is funded by the "German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)" in the program "University Excellence in Development Cooperation (exceed)" with funds from the "Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development"

Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program At The University Of Abomey-Calavi
Le Programme de bourses de la Fondation Mastercard a signé en 2017 un partenariat avec l'Université d'Abomey-Calavi dans l'objectif d'étendre son action au Bénin en finançant l'accès à l'éducation supérieure, aux formations extra-académiques en leadership et en entreprenariat à 300 jeunes femmes et hommes d'ici 2023. Le Programme cible des jeunes béninois issus de familles démunies, mais ayant des résultats scolaires exceptionnels. La procédure de sélection des boursiers est rigoureuse et transparente en impliquant plusieurs institutions externes à l'Université telles que le Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de l'Enseignement secondaire, Plan International Bénin, Social Watch Bénin ou l'Association des Communes du Bénin. Les boursiers de la Fondation Mastercard à l'UAC sont admis dans des filières scientifiques et techniques à haute valeur ajoutée à la Faculté des Sciences agronomiques, à l'Institut de Formation et de Recherche en Informatique, à l'Ecole Polytechnique d'Abomey-Calavi et à la Faculté des Sciences et Techniques en filière Energies renouvelables et Systèmes énergétiques. Fort de la volonté de faire d'eux des jeunes capables d'impulser un changement économique et social dans les communautés, les boursiers de la Fondation Mastercard reçoivent différents appuis afin de renforcer leur confiance en soi, leur capacité à travailler avec les autres, à mener des projets sociaux et à accéder à des opportunités professionnelles. Regroupés au sein d'une structure légère, ils ont mis en oeuvre différentes activités de retour à la communauté afin de marquer dès maintenant leurs empreintes en tant que leaders sociaux. Il s'agit d'activités de salubrité, de dons d'équipements, de sensibilisation, de création d'entreprises sociales et solidaires. Les bénéficiaires du Programme reçoivent également un accompagnement entrepreneurial afin de mener à bien leurs projets de création d'entreprises, notamment par l'appui à l'idéation, l'incubation et l'amorçage.
