Algorithmics School Malta
Algorithmics is a leading international programming school for children and teens 6-17 years old, teaching over students in 60 countries, including USA, Australia, Russia, Canada, Singapore, UK, Turkey, France,Japan, Spain, India and Israel. Now it is opening its doors to kids in Malta. We offer education of the future! We teach children how to build computer programs; but more importantly, we develop children's logical thinking, creativity, and curiosity. Programming is a skill of the 21st century. Even though many schools teach information and communication technology, lots of students have minimal elementary programming skills. Our students fully understand how programming works, not just copy a code written by a teacher. Our students create video games, cartoons, and IT projects. They acquire critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, presentation and project planning skills, teamwork and more. No matter whom they will become, children will take advantage of what they learn with us. Algorithmics combines offline and online learning in programming classes for children. Our team consists of professionals who have designed courses delivered in the most exciting and playful way, making programming simple, exciting, and fun for kids. At Algorithmics, we want children to learn skills that will help them in the future, no matter what profession they chose later. We help them to become what they want to be. Not everyone wants to be a programmer, but programming will be necessary for everyone. e-mail or call for more information: info@algorithmics.mt +356

Blue Door Education
Blue Door Education (VO/2165) is a voluntary organisation (registered NGO) based in Valletta, Malta. Our team of dedicated and passionate volunteers provides free literacy, language and life skill classes, both in person and online, for adult refugees and asylum seekers, and adult migrants with a social worker referral. Education enables upward social mobility, and each additional skill can mean higher income, leading to better access to nutritious food, sanitation, healthcare and accommodation. The hands-on linguistic first aid and practical skills courses we provide help refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in their new host country. For many of our students, the difficult journey to Malta is only the first hurdle in their resettlement. Many of them have left everything they knew and loved behind, are dealing with trauma, and urgently need to find a way to survive. The language barrier is one of these obstacles, and overcoming it opens the door to better integration, and increased opportunities. Community is equally as important as education for displaced persons, and Blue Door Education seeks to empower its learners by offering a safe and welcoming space in which to express themselves, make connections and stay informed about local services. Moreover, learners receive help developing their CVs, opening bank accounts, obtaining bus passes and applying for courses. We also regularly invite representatives from other organisations to give information on how our learners can further their education and join community events. Our volunteers help out in a variety or roles including teaching, curriculum research, registrations, and administration, and we couldn’t run our school without them. We rely heavily on monetary donations to keep our school going, and the staff and learners at Blue Door Education are immensely grateful for the kind donations of classroom resources from individuals and and organisations within the community.

Julian's Pathfinder Foundation
The Julian’s Pathfinder Foundation was created in memory of Julian Spiteri who tragically passed away in a traffic accident in April 2021. Julian was a second-year law student at the University of Malta who was constantly questioning whether or not he was on the right path and if reading law was the best course for him to reach his full potential. His long list explaining ‘why I want to study / practice law’, which he pinned to the cork board above his desk, is evidence of the great lengths he went to justify his choices and he frequently referred back to this list when he was doubting whether he was on the right path. Hopefully this list can serve as a guidepost for anyone considering the legal profession or any other career path. The list, as well as other writings found by his parents posthumously, led his family to establish the Julian’s Pathfinder Foundation with the purpose of inspiring and supporting gifted children and youth to achieve their full potential. Julian’s essays on ‘Do we have a moral duty to exceed ourselves’ and ‘Does the best education happen outside the classroom’, have led Julian’s parents to focus the charitable cause of the Foundation on our moral duty to support the most gifted amongst us through outside the classroom education to help them fulfil their potential and inspire them to make a positive contribution to society. In addition, his bucket list, also discovered posthumously by his parents, is an inspiration to the series of events carried out by the Foundation, including Julian's Change the World Challenge and Julian's Tech Startup Challenge.
