Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd
Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (“UEGCL or the Company”) was incorporated in 2001 initially with the main objective to take over as a going concern the generation activities of the now defunct Uganda Electricity Board (UEB) together with all or any part of the property, assets and liabilities associated with it as was transferred to the Company by UEB in accordance with the Public Enterprise Reform and Divestiture Act. These assets transferred to the Company from UEB were principally the 180 MW Nalubaale and 200 MW Kira Hydro Power Stations located in Jinja.

MTSL Energies was incorporated in 2007 by self-motivated and highly experienced individuals in the field of Power Line Construction and Engineering with a view of forming a formidable team to conduct and offer a range of services ranging from electrical and mechanical maintenance of systems, consultancy, engineering design and provision of quality equipment and spares. We have expertise in providing engineering consultancy services, original spare parts and the construction of distribution lines, transmission lines, and substations and we offer related equipment. The industry knowledge gained over the years fosters the offering of retrofitted solutions to meet the customers’ needs. We have two fully functioning affiliate companies that manufacture poles namely; Buyara Pole Treatment Plant Ltd produces both CCA and Creosote Treated wooden Poles and Delta-Link Investments Company Ltd manufactures Concrete Poles. MTSL is an authorized supplier of poles to the local distribution utility, UMEME, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, the largest customers of poles in Uganda, due to its no-compromise approach to quality.
