Limerick Greyhound Stadium

Limerick is top dog when it comes to sporting spectacle and proof of this is the crowds attracted by the state of the art Greyhound Racing Stadium. Greyhound Racing has taken place in Limerick since 1932 and at the new Stadium on the Dock Road since 2010. A night at the dogs provides live, adrenaline pumped entertainment. Top class facilities ensure it is comfortable to watch the action from inside and out. There is racing ever Saturday evening. Gates open at 6.30pm; the first race is approx. 7.45pm. All sorts of occasions are catered for such as family events, team nights, corporate functions, hen/stag parties and fundraisers for non-profit organisations. Robo Riots

The biggest, baddest, strongest and fastest next-generation robots from BBC’s hit TV show Robot Wars and around the world will be flipping, smashing and bashing in mortal combat inside the only bullet proof Combat Cage in Ireland. This is a family extravaganza, with four full two-hour live shows (and with demand an option to add two more shows), attracting over millennials and families of teens, promoting STEM and inspiring tech, engineering, science, learning and fun. Situated on Francis Street in the heart of Dublin's southern city centre, The Tivoli Theatre was a replacement for an earlier Tivoli Theatre located on Burgh Quay, which had closed in May 1928. Built to the designs of architect Vincent Kelly with seating provided for 700. The Tivoli Theatre opened as a cine/variety theatre on 21st December 1934. In the late-1930’s it converted to full-time cinema use and was re-named Tivoli Cinema. The Tivoli Cinema was closed in September 1964. It was converted into a nightclub, and a shop, finally re-opening as a live theatre in 1987 and re-named Tivoli Theatre. The venue houses two flexible performance spaces: the Tivoli Theatre and the Tivoli Live. Upstairs is an exclusive cinema styled theatre with a flexible stage area and an extensive lighting grid with a vast array of options for hanging. A unique and historic theatre, having played host to a long line of highly revered and well loved actors, playwrights, musicians and comedians from all over the globe. It can accommodate 475 patrons, a highly desired space not only for the arts but for commercial use also. The venue has seen The Cranberries, Oasis, Blur, Suede, The Beastie Boys, etc. perform to wild and ecstatic crowds. With a capacity of this is the venue for current and upcoming bands. It also has a huge following as an international DJ venue for cutting edge gigs. We are a group of like minded Music journalists and followers of Techno, who have come together to build this online music magazine and playlist platform that’s dedicated to being about the Art of Techno music, artists, the production of Techno and its events around the World. Techno Scene – TS will combine music and gear reviewing with quality writing and eventually we foresee developing an app, documentaries and motion graphics films featuring varying styles of Techno. Weekly we will share free industry tools, VSTs and reviews which we hope will serve as a guide for all Techno aficionados.

Monica Loughman Elite Ballet

Monica Loughman elite Ballet was established in 2011 in recognition of the importance to leverage the Monica Loughman “Brand” in staging productions and the fact that so many of the Coryphees and Corps de Ballet were could no longer be described as “Youth”. The Company also now has several Irish soloists and it has been a definitive launch pad for a number of professional Ballet careers. In July 2011 in response to overwhelming demand from students and teachers from Ballet Schools across Ireland Monica set up The Bridge Program to clarify how transition from School to Stage can happen. The Program consists of workshops around Ireland with participating Schools led by Monica. Past - The Irish Youth Russian Ballet Company was established in 2006. Its policy of using Irish talent for almost all of the roles in each performance was something that no other Irish Ballet Company had been able to attain. The company aimed to give young Irish dancers the opportunity to advance by performing in a major show to the Irish public and it achieved this over and over again. As the Company’s successes grew, auditions became more and more popular with Ballet School students from all over Ireland. Future - Monica Loughman's vision for where the company is going is that it will become a State or National entity and that it will employ professional dancers.
