Growing Green Communities
Growing Green Communities is a non-profit organisation founded by Rebecca Talbot, a dedicated environmentalist and lead by a team of passionate volunteers. We work from the grassroots up by connecting eco-minded individuals, communities, businesses, organisations, and governments. We teach them sustainable practices to make a greener future for us all. We provide simple, sustainable solutions to environmental problems, by taking action on a local level. GGC's support ranges from consultations, to sourcing potential funding revenues, to connecting organisations we think could help each other. Everywhere we work we launch an event to connect the eco community of that country together, promote the green businesses within it, and teach sustainable solutions through engaging workshops. Only by working together can we make a more sustainable future for all. Community Engagement- We run projects that the whole community can join in on- We make sure these projects have longevity- Community leaders are found and appointed and our knowledge is transferred. Eco-Events- Our events are designed to bring the whole community together: families, schools, eco-friendly businesses and decision makers- We discover the very best sustainable products that the country has to offer and promote and provide individuals a platform to sell their products- We run workshops to educate the youth about problems within the environment and how to sustainably overcome them- We raise money for local environmental charities. Support & Guidance- We hold meetings to give advice to anyone in the environmental field and provide support- We will help out in anyway we can, whether its searching for investment, help with contacting officials, and online marketing. Get in touch if you are a passionate environmentalist and would like to work with us!
