EcoPoint is a team of seasoned software and hardware developers passionate about ecology. Starting from 2019 we develop a product-line of reverse vending machines, powered by artificial intelligence technologies and that pay money for recyclables. At the moment our machines accept PET-bottles up to 6 liters, aluminum cans up to 2 liters and waste paper (cardboard, paper, books, newspapers and magazines). What makes us stand out is the heart of the machine - the so called load module which, being a universal platform could be trained to accept new types of recyclables. The only limitation is the overall dimensions of the load module, which are big enough to detect a wide range of recyclables. Currently we do R&D to let our RVMs support the acceptance of glass bottles, stretch film and electronic waste. Support of other types of recyclables could be implemented on request. Association for Ecology and Environmental Protection «Separate Waste Collection» (РазДельный Сбор) is a community of people who consider the implementation of separate waste collection to be a necessary tool to develop the society of responsible production and consumption, for the improvement of the surrounding environments and the quality of human’s life. The movement’s activity stimulates the development of new waste management system in Russia based on 3R principles (reduce, reuse, recycle) and forms conscious, rational attitude to the natural resources. On the 5th of November 2011 in St.Petersburg activists held the first separate waste collection (paper and plastic) campaign and this day became the birthday of the movement. Since then separate waste collection campaigns at the first Saturday of each month became our signature. Many cities and regions joined St.Petersburg. There are initiative groups of the movement in the Leningrad region, Moscow and the Moscow region, Cherepovets, Veliky Novgorod. Depending on the region the format of activities differs. The arrangement of monthly campaigns is relevant not for all the initiative groups. There are mobile points, support of the emerging stationary separate waste collection, educational projects. For building up the new waste management system in Russia there is a need of commitment from the citizens, laws, authorities, business, housing and communal services. Therefore we are trying to work in all the directions and to find common interests with all the concerned parties.

Движение «РазДельный Сбор» появилось четыре года назад в Санкт-Петербурге. Постепенно к нему стали присоединяться и другие города России. Сейчас в движении участвует более 15 городов. Московские активисты, регулярно проводившие собственные эколого-просветительские акции с раздельным сбором, решили присоединиться к движению «РазДельный Сбор» в мае 2014 г. Экологическое движение «Раздельный Сбор» - это всероссийское объединение людей, которые хотят жить в обществе осознанного производства и потребления и считают внедрение раздельного сбора отходов обязательным для улучшения состояния окружающей среды и качества жизни человека. The Recycling (“RazDelny Sbor”) movement was created four years ago in Saint Petersburg. Over the years other cities got involved and now the movement is present in more than 15 Russian cities. Moscow activists who had been organising their own independent recycling activities for some time joined the movement in May 2014. “RazDelny Sbor” unites people who want to build the community of responsible production and consumption and believe ubiquitous implementation of recycling to be vital for improving the environment and human well-being.
