Since 2009 we have grown to become the Island’s premiere event planning company. Peter Young launched Event Management Solutions following a successful career in the Isle of Man Constabulary. His former work as a Tactical Advisor and Public safety trainer was a natural prelude to the work he has built upon in his own company. As members of the National Outdoor Events Association and the only Level 4 Spectator Safety Manager qualified person and assessor on the Island give a unique perspective on events. Working with The Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College as an associate lecturer means we can keep up to date with current thinking and best practice.

Vanessa Naude, our visionary founder, brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned event organizer, PR professional, and social media content creator. Having made the Isle of Man her home since December 2021, Vanessa remotely manages a successful PR agency, Strategic Public Relations, catering to clients in education, mining, hospitality, and the non-profit sector in South Africa. Her impressive event portfolio includes notable projects like the launch function for Montecasino's Piazza and logistical arrangements for the South African National Culinary Team in the Culinary Olympics. Isle Settle takes pride in being the driving force behind the SAFFA Festival Isle of Man, an inclusive annual event that celebrates the rich tapestry of South African food, culture, and music. With approximately 10% of the Isle of Man's population being South African, and a vibrant SAFFA community scattered across the island, our festival aims to nurture a sense of inclusion and cohesiveness. The inaugural Festival took place in September 2023 and will be returning in 2024.
