AFSIC – Investing in Africa is the leading Africa focused investment conference and is held annually in London. AFSIC – Investing in Africa 2026 takes place 13th-14th October 2026 at Park Plaza Westminster. Channel Islands International Pensions Conference
The Channel Islands International Pensions Conference will take place at the Royal Yacht Hotel on Friday 24 May 2019. The conference is sponsored by Intertrust and delivered in association with The Jersey Pensions Association (JPA) and The Guernsey Association of Pensions Providers (GAPP). It will act as a central platform in the Channel Islands from which industry professionals, regulators, politicians and guest speakers can provide informative and intriguing updates. The conference itself will have an international flavour and is aimed at; Pension Providers, Trust and Investment Professionals, Pension Scheme Trustees, Pension Administrators, Employee Benefit Consultants, IFAs, Employers and Legal Professionals. It will be a central platform for Jersey’s and Guernsey’s Pension Industry and will allow industry professionals to share knowledge, practice experience, network and gain CPD points. For 2019 we have rebranded the conference as the Channel Islands International Pensions Conference to reflect the partnership we have with both the Jersey Pensions Association and the Guernsey Association of Pension Providers and a number of our sponsors and speakers who have interests in both islands. It is our intention that some of our future conferences will be held in Guernsey. The Jersey 7:45 Breakfast Club was created in 2004 to fill a gap perceived by the founders for an informal business forum where people could meet and network their businesses. In the intervening period, the Club has been so successful that two further chapters have been created to meet demand for places. The Club is a non-profit organisation. We charge an annual fee of £150 to cover the costs of venue hire, catering and administration. Apply to join now! At each meeting, members have the opportunity to present a two minute speech about their business or another topics they believe will interest and benefit other members. The rest of the time is given over to listening, talking to other members, networking and enjoying the breakfast provided by the Pomme D'Or.

Jersey International Air Display A.R.L
The annual air display is organised by the Jersey International Air Display a.r.l. a not-for-profit company, which strives to raise monies for British Service Charities and to support the Island’s tourism industry. As a result, organisers receive a grant from Jersey’s Economic Development Department, the government department responsible for tourism in Jersey and rely upon the generous support, financial and otherwise, of many leading businesses and individuals. Costs for staging an event of this size are increasing each year and as well as the expected costs for fuel and ground power, accommodation for aircraft crew and ground support also needs to be sourced. Organisers are always grateful for the generous donations, however small, it also receives from members of the public in acknowledgement of their enjoyment of this ‘free’ event.
