Agrologic Eood

Agrologic, Bulgaria is currently the largest potato producer in Bulgaria, exporting most of it's production to French fries factories. In it's 20 year history, Agrologic has worked with partners and customers from around the globe. For the past 5 years, Agrologic has been working largely with PepsiCo's factory in Athens, Greece. The company collaborates with Cambridge University in researching new potato varieties for the processing industry. Recently, Agrologic has started researching new cultures.

Dream Gardens

Dream Gardens is based in central Bulgaria with main activity agriculture, production, processing and trade with agricultural products. Since 2020 the company has expanded its agricultural activity as we became a licensed industrial hemp producer. We operate our own outdoor hemp grows. The varieties grown are registered in the EU plant variety database and have THC levels of less than 0.2%. The region in which the plantations are grown is ecologically clean with ideal climatic conditions for production. We believe that hand-grown and hand-picked is better than using machinery. As a company we value mother nature and we believe that sustainability is key. All of our grows are 100% organic, we don’t believe in the use of any pesticides etc. Our company has a strong focus around selling hemp biomass, hemp clones and hemp flowers that are organic and sustainable for our environment. Although we are a startup company in the hemp production industry we also operate other agricultural productions. In 2016 we planted 500 acres of Stanley plum trees. The region in which the plantations are located is ecologically clean, with ideal climatic conditions for the production of Stanley plum trees. All of our gardens are equipped with a modern drip irrigation system and are cultivated by advanced agricultural machinery. Dream Gardens is among the pioneers cultivating Saffron crocus in Bulgaria. Our saffron is with the highest quality characteristics. In 2018, we sowed over 650 decares of high-quality alfalfa. Alfalfa is a perennial leguminous plant, rich in protein and mineral substances and is ideal for feeding animals in fresh, slightly withered or dried condition. Kronos Agro Trade, Bulgaria

We are located in southeastern part of Bulgaria, where we own over 10 hectares of land and where we cultivate and grow different types of agro-commodities, as well a new production plant was build, where are working around 60 employees. It is equipped with photo sortex, cleaning, calibrating machineries, packaging line, storage spaces. Main products we cultivate are striped sunflower seeds, chickpeas, coriander, durum wheat and we have also possibility for producing peeled sunflower kernels. We work closely with the local farmers and the other big producers in Bulgaria, that we consider mainly as a partners. Kronos Agro Trade is expanding its activity rapidly, mainly in the export of the agro-products. We work with many countries around the world and attend in most of the popular food exhibitions, such as Anuga, Gulfood, PLMA etc.

Seedhousesadovo

Seed House Sadovo is the first private seed house in Bulgaria, it was established in 1997 by the Dragushevi family. The main activity of the company is-Selection, variety testing, variety maintenance and seed production of wheat, triticale, peanuts and sesame-Seed production of winter-spring, spring fodder peas and barley. In 2022, two new varieties of peanuts KANA and POMEGRANATE, suitable for fresh and processed consumption, and a new variety of triticale EDRETS of the rye-wheat type, were entered and recognized in the official variety list of Bulgaria. In 2019, a new high-yielding soft wheat variety TERES was officially recognized, authored by Prof. Dr. Marina Marcheva. Every year, new wheat and triticale genotypes are tested in the structures of IASAS. In 2012, the variety TRAKIYKA was officially registered. The breeder of the varieties is Ilia Stankov, Ph.D. Between 2008 and 2010, 3 new varieties of wheat, created in SKS - LAZUR, APOLLON and ZEBRETS - were recognized and entered in the official variety list of Bulgaria. We also has a line for cleaning, decontamination and calibrating seeds; laboratory for determining the sowing and technological qualities of seeds and soil samples. Every year, SHS organizes and conducts "Wheat Open Days" throughout the country. Varieties are presented under different environmental conditions and growing technologies. New technological solutions are offered, allowing optimal development of varieties and achieving their genetic potential for yield and quality. The Seed House works in close cooperation with all Bulgarian and some foreign institutes, and with all state offices in agriculture. Our varieties of winter soft wheat successfully find their place in grain production in different regions of Romania, and peanuts are in demand by farmers and the market in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Greece and Switzerland. In 2006, SHS was awarded seed producer of the year.
