Ocean Orchids is the leading orchid producer and marketer in Central and South-Eastern Europe. We have been growing Phalaenopsis orchids professionally since 2005. The company is located in North-Eastern part of Slovenia in the village of Dobrovnik, near the three borders of Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. Our production is carried out on m2 of modern greenhouses, where we are able to produce more than 2 million flowering Phalaenopsis pot plants per year. Besides being sold on the domestic market, our orchids are exported to more than ten countries in central and South-Eastern Europe. We export around 80% of our products. Due to the use of Geothermal Energy, our orchids are produced with significantly lower carbon footprint compared to our competitors. We can guarantee that Ocean Orchids Phalaenopsis plants have the smallest carbon footprint in Europe.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Olivo is home made and hand made Olive Oil from Slovenia. Our tradition is four generations long and rich of love to oil. We are most certain that there's more to olive growing and production of olive oil than technical or agricultural terms can describe. It's an art inspired by love we feel for this precious natural nectar, love that is carried on from generation to generation, a personal, loving relationship, like the one between our family members. The utmost respect for olive trees and oil is being passed on from generation to generation, along with experience gained through both success and adversities. The distinguished Olivo is thus a high quality olive oil providing numerous health benefits. Olive oil Olivo is obtained from the finest olive fruits that ripen in the sun. Sea air only adds to a special flavour. Trees are sprayed with biological agents once or twice a year, if there's a risk of olive fly. Otherwise only natural methods of cultivation such as pruning are used in order to protect the oil from pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or other harmful substances. The picking of our olives is carried out by hand in order to prevent any mechanical damage, enzymatic hydrolysis or oxidation. Olives are transferred to olive mills within a period of 24 to a maximum of 48 hours after the picking. In the mills, oil is extracted at temperatures below 27 degrees Celsius to preserve active ingredients that increase oil's stability and are beneficial to the organism. Kot vhodno surovino uporabljamo kakovostno pšenično slamo, ki jo pridobimo na poljih na obronkih Panonske nižine. Na sodobni proizvodni liniji slamo sprva zmeljemo in narežemo na kratke delce. V primerjavi z običajno slamo, ki vpija vlago samo ob koncih oz. prelomih, pri rezanju dosežemo, da slama vpija vlago po celotni dolžini. Povečana vpojnost slame omogoča boljšo vezavo gnojevke, kar posledično pomeni količinsko manj nastilja, zaradi boljše vezave amonijaka se bistveno zmanjšajo vonjave v hlevu. Bukova drva V podjetju KGS Krajnc ponujamo bukova drva iz lastne proizvodnje, pri čemer surovina prihaja izključno iz slovenskih gozdov. Bukova drva izhajajo iz trajnostnega ravnanja z gozdovi v Sloveniji in so tako iz ekološkega kot iz ekonomskega vidika optimalna izbira v primerjavi s fosilnimi gorivi. Proizvajamo drva dolžine 25cm, 33cm ter 45 cm. Lesni sekanci V podjetju izdelujemo sekance iz lesne biomase. Sekance izdelujemo iz celuloznega lesa iglavcev ter oblovine listavcev. Pri čemer iglavce in listavce skladiščimo na ločenih deponijah. Z lesno biomaso oskrbujemo kotlovnico za daljinsko ogrevanje v Lenartu, lastno kotlovnico za sušenje koruze ter večje in manjše sisteme v Sloveniji in tujini. V letu 2019 smo pridobili certifikat PEFC Chain of Custody. Certifikat PEFC tako daje izdelkom garancijo, da izvirajo iz gozdov s trajnostnim gospodarjenjem.

Zspm Zveza Slovenske Podeželske Mladine

Zveza Slovenske podeželske mladine (ZSPM) je bila kot nepolitična in neodvisna organizacija ustanovljena 3. aprila 1993 v Kranju, vendar pa njeni zametki segajo že v dvajseta leta 20. stoletja, ko so se pričela ustanavljati prva društva kmečkih fantov in deklet. Ustanovna društva ZSPM so bila DPM Ptuj, DPM Zabukovje in DPM Zgornje Savinjske doline, prva predsednica pa Cvetka Mavrič roj.Goličnik. Od ustanovitve do danes je ZSPM postala ena največjih nacionalnih mladinskih organizacij v Sloveniji, saj združuje kar 45 društev in edina, ki se aktivno ukvarja z mladimi na podeželju in mladimi kmeti. Znotraj ZSPM deluje skupina za mlade kmete in kmetijsko politiko, katere glavne naloge so zagovarjanje interesov mladih kmetov, vzpodbujanje politične participacije, organiziranje izobraževanj in srečanj. Zveza daje velik poudarek medsebojnem druženju mladih, zato vsako leto organizira ali soorganizira več državnih projektov: državni kviz Mladi in kmetijstvo (MIK), Državne kmečke igre (DKI), srečanja društev podeželske mladine s športnimi igrami, izbor inovativne mlade kmetice oziroma inovativnega mladega kmeta (IMK)… vsekakor pa ne smemo pozabiti na številne ekskurzije po Sloveniji in v tujino. ZSPM pa ne deluje samo regionalno in nacionalno, ampak je vpeta tudi v evropsko dogajanje. Je namreč članica dveh mednarodnih organizacij: Evropskega sveta mladih kmetov (The European Council Of Young Farmers) in Evropske podeželske mladine (Rural Youth Europe). Ekološka Kmetija Avark

Daleč od industrije in prometa, v neokrnjeni naravi Suhe Krajine, kjer se stikajo kočevski gozdovi s travniki in pašniki, je kmetija AvarK. Obsega površino petdesetih hektarjev ter je delno umeščena v območju Nature nahaja pa se na območju vasi Smuka, na relaciji Kočevje - Dvor. Na naši posesti se je kmetovalo že v začetkih devetdesetih let, z rejo škotskega visokogorskega goveda pa smo začeli oktobra 2013. Sprva za lastno uporabo, saj se zavedamo pomena zdrave prehrane, nato pa smo se odločili dejavnost razširiti in vrhunsko kakovost ponuditi tudi drugim, ki jim je zdravje na prvem mestu. Far away from industry and traffic, in unspoiled nature of region Suha Krajina, where forests of Kočevje are in contact with meadows and pastures, there is organic farm AvarK. The estate covers fifty hectares and is partially positioned in Natura area. The farm is located in the village Smuka, on the route between Kočevje - Dvor. On our estate we are farming from the beginning of the nineties, but with Highland cattle breeding we started in October 2013. At first for our own needs, because we are aware of the meaning of healthy diet. Later we decided to expand and offer our high quality products to people, who value their own health.

Čilčevi Farmstead, Organic Farm And Cheese Producer

Čilčevi farmstead is situated in the idyllic village of Pedrovo. This organic farm and dairy manages a herd of autochthonous endangered Karst sheep (also known as Istrian Milks) and Drežnica goats. Both breeds produce very rich milk that lends itself to the production of a range of dairy products reflecting the quality of the pristine grazing areas and the animals themselves. The fruit growing in the orchard and the vegetables and herbs from the garden make for delicious jams, purees and syrups. Visitors of the farm can get a first-hand experience of how cheese is made, take a wander around the quaint village and take in the beauty, views and scents of the virginal meadows. Goats and sheep can also be petted. Chat up with the owners of the farm and enjoy the delectable flavours of what they produce and cook in the nice farm shop.
