Set up in 2010, Pencils n Brushes artworks is a Visual art and design service company in the arts and crafts industry in Nigeria. The company was officially launched in 2011. Pencils n Brushes artworks was created to be a safe haven for artist and creative minds to create the most spectacular art form seen in the country. Thus the company searches for the best hands, teaches and employs disciplined and creative artists with potential. A present dissatisfaction with the situation of visual artist and visual art in their immediate environment and this partly prompted the creation of the company. Overtime the company has created a mark in the art industry, changing the face of art one art at a time. It has also hosted mini exhibitions with its main exhibition in the G.E.M.S.T.O.N.E leadership center, interviewed by Afro art media and has been recognized as a company poised to change the views about art in the country. Pencils n Brushes is currently involved in Project Raise which seeks to empower young minds. The project is in partnership with G.E.M.S.T.O.N.E leadership center (owned by Fela Durotoye) and targets students in Primary schools, inspiring them and teaching them to balance their talents with their education.
