Verdure Foods Limited is a wholly Zambian owned and managed company that was incorporated in July, 2015. Verdure Foods Limited provides Plant-Based Food options to individuals and families who desire to live healthier lives by eating clean. We exist to promote the health and happiness of individuals and families by increasing access to Plant-Based Nutrition options. Verdure Foods Limited was born out of the personal experiences of its founders / directors who have been on a largely Plant Based Diet for over 2 decades now. They had a myriad of challenges finding non-meat food alternatives after completely eliminating animal-based foods from their diet. Over the years, many of those they knew to be on some form of special diet either gave up entirely or compromised often due to lack of readily available Plant-Based Food options. The realization that a lot of people struggled and got discouraged when attempting to live on a Plant Based Diet, whether as a personal lifestyle choice or for medical reasons, led to the birth of Verdure Foods Limited.
