Swiss Relief Foundation was founded in 2020, the midst of pandemic, by Paolo Gheorghiu and Manuel Werner to provide emergency humanitarian relief. The operation grew from providing approx. 60 meals a month in Milan, Italy with a partner mobile foodbank (Q4 2020) to providing approx. 4,300 meals in Quito, Ecuador (Q1 2024) and 250 meals (Q1 2024) in Turin, Italy. Previously registered as an association receiving tax-exempt status in November 2022 and becoming a Foundation in January 2024. Wildcards uses NFT's (Non-fungible tokens) to represent real in-game assets (think a character in brawlhalla). This allows for each in-game asset to have a unique tamper proof digital history, identity and consequently a fundamental value. To ensure consistent revenue is generated from these assets as opposed to a 'once-off purchase' model, these NFT's are 'always for sale'. When bought, you are required to immediately specify a price at which you are willing to sell the asset. You then pay a percentage based fee on this selling price. We are a newly established association, and the first BIPoC and Trans-lead fund based in Switzerland focused on supporting Trans lives financially. What unites us is our work within and for the LGBTQIA+ community in various forms. By sharing this common space, we have realized how the lack of quick and low-threshold support towards Trans/Queer bodies is, unfortunately, a pattern in Switzerland and around the world. We took things into our own hands by creating this fund to gather and redistribute money and support to disenfranchised people on the Trans spectrum. Our Trans siblings, and especially Trans siblings of color, are and have historically been subjects of unforeseen violence, abuse and negligence in general society and within the LGBTQIA+ community itself. We are blessed to find ourselves in a privileged space, living in a country like Switzerland. Therefore, we feel like it is our duty to redistribute resources and empower our people.

Der Verein Bildungsförderung von Kindern in Sri Lanka befasst sich mit Bildungsprojekten in der südlich von Indien gelegenen Insel. Der im November 2018 gegründete Verein umfasst dabei eine Gruppe von Bekannten, welche eine Hochschätzung und Liebe zum Land, der Kultur, und den Menschen Sri Lankas entwickelt haben und entsprechend versuchen, etwas an dieses inspirierende Land zurückzugeben. Ursprünglich hatte Siva Iyadurai im Jahr 2012 begonnen die Schulbildung in seinem Heimatdorf zu unterstützen. Sein Sohn Prasanna führt das Hilfsprojekt nun weiter.

The BLACKSWAN Foundation was established in Switzerland in 2010 to contribute to the development of research on rare and orphan diseases worldwide. The Foundation supports research on all different types of rare and orphan disease, which makes its vision unique and helps in finding new solutions that can assist a large variety of projects. Besides its funding research mission, the Foundation organizes every two years the RE(ACT) Congress, which became an international reference point for rare disease experts. In five editions, more than 1,500 scientists were able to establish approximately fifty collaborations. Since 2015, BLACKSWAN Foundation has also started an international advocacy and awareness campaign called #RAREvolution to ensure rare diseases are recognized as an international public health and research priority.
