Culture and Art Community Impact Fund Africa (CACIFA) is a forward-thinking, impact-driven intermediary fund dedicated to catalyzing sustainable growth in Africa's creative economy. As an intermediary fund, we facilitate collaboration and resource mobilization across sectors to nurture Africa’s creative economy. We work in close partnership with governments, international development organizations, businesses, cultural institutions, philanthropic foundations, and civil society to create a dynamic and thriving creative ecosystem. Through these partnerships, we aim to unlock opportunities for sustainable growth, strengthen cultural infrastructures, and empower local communities, ultimately ensuring that the creative economy is a driving force for socio-economic development across Africa. At CACIFA Fund, we believe that culture and creativity are not only vital to Africa's identity but also a driving force for socio-economic development. Our mission is to empower local communities, artists, and creative entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources, tools, and mobility they need to thrive. Through strategic investments, we provide funding to build and enhance cultural spaces, promote artistic mobility, and improve capacity building for artists and cultural leaders. Our work emphasizes the importance of research and development, ensuring that Africa remains at the forefront of innovation in the arts, while also nurturing the next generation of creative professionals.
