The Ministry is also responsible for the following: keeping the records and statistics concerning the internal affairs, the internal affairs information system and the education and training of the Ministry’s officers. The Ministry is also tackling other matters under a special law.

Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), with its seat in Zagreb, is a legal entity with public authority within the scope and competence prescribed by the Electronic Communications Act that entered into force on 1st July 2008 and a special law regulating the field of postal services. HAKOM is an independent, autonomous and non-profit legal entity with public authority. The work of HAKOM is public. The founder of HAKOM, and founding rights are exercised by the Croatian Parliament and the Government of the Republic of Croatia. HAKOM is governed by the Council consisting of five members, including the Chairman and Deputy Chairman. The Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Council are appointed for the period of five years and dismissed by the Croatian Parliament upon proposal of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The Council of HAKOM adopts decisions by the majority of votes. HAKOM has an administrative service performing expert, administrative and technical tasks of the Agency. The administrative service is organised in accordance with the Statute and other HAKOM’s internal rules. The administrative service is managed by the Executive Director who is appointed by and is accountable to the Council for his work. The competence of HAKOM is prescribed by Article 12 of the Electronic Communications Act (OG 73/08) and Article 38 of the Act on Postal Services (OG 88/09).

The Croatian Parliament (Croatian: Hrvatski sabor) or the Sabor is the unicameral representative body of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia; it is Croatia's legislature. Under the terms of the Croatian Constitution, the Sabor represents the people and is vested with legislative power.[A] The Sabor is composed of 151 members elected to a four-year term on the basis of direct, universal and equal suffrage by secret ballot. Seats are allocated according to the Croatian Parliament electoral districts: 140 members of the parliament are elected in multi-seat constituencies, 8 from the minorities and 3 from the Croatian diaspora. The Sabor is presided over by a Speaker, who is assisted by at least one deputy speaker (usually four or five deputies). The Sabor's powers are defined by the Constitution and they include: defining economic, legal and political relations in Croatia, preservation and use of its heritage and entering into alliances. The Sabor has the right to deploy the Croatian armed forces abroad, and it may restrict some constitutional rights and liberties in wartime or in cases of imminent war or following natural disasters. The Sabor amends the borders of Croatia or the Constitution, enacts legislation, passes the state budget, declares war and decides on cessation of hostilities, adopts parliamentary resolutions and bylaws, adopts long-term national security and defence strategies, implements civil supervision of the armed forces and security services, calls referenda, performs elections and appointments conforming to the constitution and applicable legislation, supervises operations of the Government and other civil services responsible to the parliament, grants amnesty for criminal offences and performs other duties defined by the constitution.

Agency For Medicinal Products And Medical Devices
The Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices is a legal entity vested with public authority. It was established on 1st October 2003 as a legal successor to the Croatian Institute of Medicines Control and the Croatian Institute of Immunobiological Preparations Control, albeit with a considerably broader scope of work. The Agency was established by the Republic of Croatia. Legal compliance of the Agency is supervised by the Ministry of Health. It generates its own income through service fees and annual charges for provision of services from its scope of work, as well as through other sources in accordance with the Medicinal Products Act and other regulations. The Agency provides services pertaining to medicinal products, medical devices and homeopathic products in accordance with the primary and secondary legislation of the Republic of Croatia.

Grad Bjelovar
Welcome to Bjelovar, Croatia, first tax-free and paperless town in Croatia. The town of Bjelovar was built by the order of the Empress Maria Theresa for strategic military reasons in 1756. In 1874 it was granted a status of a free royal town. Bjelovar is situated in north-west Croatia, just over 80 kilometers from the capital city, Zagreb. Samobor
Samobor, a medieval town of Baroque architecture and long history of successful crafts and businesses, lies at a distance of only twenty kilometers from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Samobor and its surroundings are the oldest and among the most attractive excursion destination for hikers, bicycle riders and tourists from Croatia and the entire world. The town of Samobor, with a population of about inhabitants, in a broader, administrative sense, represents an area between the Sava River and the highest peaks of the Samoborsko gorje hill range. That entire area has a population of about people thus making Samobor one of the most significant business and economy micro-regions in Croatia with numerous benefits for investors and employers. Samobor received the status of a free royal market place in 1242 by means of a charter awarded by King Bela IV. Thus, Samobor obtained the right to trade freely as early as in the 13th century. In the past, Samobor used to have a daily market during the week, the so-called open-air market, and a weekly market held on Saturdays, the so-called fair. Nowadays, the fair offers the widest possible range of goods at reasonable prices each Saturday morning. Located in the town center, the Samobor open air market offers a wide range of possibilities to purchase homemade products from local producers: fruit, vegetables, cottage cheese and sour cream, homemade pasta, typical Croatian pasta mlinci, flowers, textiles etc. available every morning.
