As an Executive Agency within Isle of Man Government's Department for Enterprise, Digital Isle of Man is a public/private partnership, acting as a key decision maker and advisory body for the economic prosperity of the sector. As the sector has grown worldwide, tech-based companies on the Isle of Man have followed suit with the sector now accounting for 30% of the Island’s economy. It’s a particularly diverse area, spanning eGaming, esports, Fintech, blockchain, IoT, technology, payments, media and film. Isle Of Man Financial Intelligence Unit
The Isle of Man's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) was established by the Financial Intelligence Unit Act 2016 (FIU Act 2016). Prior to the creation of the FIU the Island's financial intelligence function was one of the functions of the Isle of Man Constabulary Financial Crime Unit. The FIU's purpose is to protect the integrity of the Isle of Man's financial system and contribute to the administration of justice through its expertise in detecting financial crime, countering money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The FIU is a full member of the Egmont Group of FIUs, and adheres to the Egmont Group Statement of Purpose and its Principles for Information Exchange between FIUs. The strategic priorities of the FIU are determined by the FIU Board which is made up of H.M. Attorney General (Chair), the Chief Constable and the Collector of Customs & Excise. The functions of the FIU are exercised by its Director, subject to any directions given by the Board.

The board of Commissioners consists of nine elected members, who usually meet twice monthly in public at Port St Mary Town Hall.

Communications And Utilities Regulatory Authority
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority is a Statutory Board of the Isle of Man Government, comprised of a Chairman and up to five Members with a range of experiences. The Authority has responsibility for licensing and regulating telecommunications, broadcasting, and utilities on the Isle of Man under the Telecommunications Act 1984, the Radio Masts Regulation Act 1988 and the Broadcasting Act 1993. The Authority recognises the need to ensure that the Island’s infrastructure and services continue to be leading edge, both to remain competitive and to develop new industries. In order for the Isle of Man to attract businesses that will contribute to its long-term economic development it must have a system of regulation that promotes stability and investment. Additionally, the Authority aims to protect and promote the sense of community on the Island by ensuring there is an appropriate Manx focus to local broadcasts through licence conditions and by supporting the Gaelic Broadcasting Committee. An important part of the Authority's day-to-day work is licensing and monitoring compliance. This will continue to take up much of the Authority’s time, but the primary focus for the coming years is to modernise the regulatory framework on the Island and create the stability required to encourage investment and innovation.
