The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Maldives to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva (PMGVA) is entrusted with the task of representing the Maldives at the United Nations – to monitor and participate in the various meetings of the United Nations and its affiliated bodies that are held in Geneva, including the Human Rights Council and Universal Periodic Review and to report back to the Ministry. Its primary purpose is to protect and promote the national interest of the country as defined by the foreign policy objectives of the administration in power, advise and recommend policy options to the Foreign Ministry. In addition to its role in representing the Maldives at the UNHRC, the Mission is also expected to participate, assist and advise the Ministry on all activities that are taking place in the United Nations that is of relevance and interest to the Maldives. These would include the meetings of the Human Rights Council, WTO, ECOSOC, OIC, NAM, AOSIS and a host of other UN related meetings, including various UN Special Sessions that are held annually and preparations for which often goes throughout the year. The UN today comprises 193 member states and while it holds its annual substantive session of the GA from September through December in New York, it is in reality in action throughout the year including the Human Rights Council and Universal Periodic Review that takes place three times a year that Maldives takes part in. The work of the UN has expanded quite considerably in recent years as its membership has grown and the world has become more complex and interdependent. In recent years, the Maldives has become more active and engaged in international affairs than ever before. Having graduated from the Least Developed Country category in 2011, the Maldives has embraced their “developing country” status and has committed to meeting its international obligations and responsibilities. The Maldives is today a mature country, engaged with the community of nations, and with a voice on the world stage.

Die Schweizer Bischofskonferenz (SBK) wurde 1863 als weltweit erste nationale Bischofsversammlung gegründet, die sich regelmässig trifft, rechtlich strukturiert ist und kirchliche Leitungsfunktionen wahrnimmt. Ihre Gründung fiel in eine politisch turbulente Zeit: Der Sonderbundskrieg war erst wenige Jahre vorbei, und die katholischen Kantone hatten eine schwierige Stellung im neuen liberalen Bundesstaat von 1848. Von Beginn an setzte sich die SBK für konkrete Anliegen der katholischen Bevölkerung ein: bessere Bildungschancen, Schutz von Ehe und Familie, Erhalt kirchlicher Feiertage sowie die Verteidigung kirchlicher Rechte bei Trauungen und Beerdigungen. Ebenso wichtig waren eine zeitgemässe Pastoral, die Ausbildung junger Seelsorger und die staatsrechtliche Absicherung der Kirche. Im Laufe der Zeit haben sich die Themen gewandelt, doch die SBK bleibt eine aktive Stimme in der modernen Gesellschaft. Durch Reformen und neue Reglemente wurde sie zu einem eigenständigen Leitungsgremium mit gemeinrechtlicher Aufbau, das innerhalb der Kirche auf nationaler Ebene mit kollegialen und hierarchischen Organen zu einer eigenen Gesetzgebung, Verwaltung und Rechtsprechung befugt ist. Dank professioneller Medienarbeit ist die SBK heute ein transparentes Instrument im Dienst der Kirche in der Schweiz und aller Katholikinnen und Katholiken des Landes.

The EU Mission to the World Trade Organization (WTO) represents the interests of the EU and its 27 Member States in the WTO. The EU is a strong supporter of the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core. The Mission’s work includes the regular work of the WTO, as well as related trade negotiations and dispute settlement. It is part of the European External Action Service (EEAS) established following the Lisbon Treaty of 2007. The EU supports the central role of the WTO in rule-making, trade liberalisation and sustainable development. EU plays a major role in the WTO since the EU is the world’s biggest trading bloc. And the WTO is at the centre of trade because more than 60% of EU trade is conducted on WTO terms. The EU is therefore a strong supporter of the multilateral trading system. The EU and its Member States are collectively the largest Aid for Trade donor, representing a third of all support provided globally. Le Conseil des jeunes a pour but d’offrir aux jeunes un espace pour débattre des questions qui les concernent (en relation avec la politique de la jeunesse, les sports, la culture ou n’importe quel domaine pouvant les intéresser), de leur permettre de réaliser des projets approuvés par leur assemblée et ainsi de participer activement à la vie sociale de la ville. Il permet de « démystifier » la politique aux yeux des jeunes et leur donne une occasion de s’exprimer. Le Conseil des jeunes est ouvert à tous les jeunes âgés de 13 à 25 ans, qui habitent, travaillent ou étudient à Yverdon-les-Bains et dans la région. Ainsi toutes les catégories de la jeunesse sont représentées (des étudiants aux gymnasiens, en passant par les écoliers, les membres d’associations sportives ou culturelles ou les jeunes sans projet professionnel). Ce Conseil bénéficie d’une subvention annuelle communale de Frs 1- par habitant pour couvrir les frais de fonctionnement et réaliser des projets. Reconnaître la citoyenneté des jeunes, c’est les tenir pour des personnes différentes des adultes, mais cependant douées individuellement et collectivement d’une légitime vision du monde et d’une capacité à s’exprimer, à agir et à participer à la vie sociale. Peu importe la forme que prend leur participation, elle doit être l’occasion pour eux de s’affirmer et de faire preuve de créativité dans leur milieu. Les jeunes doivent être partie prenante de projets qui leur fourniront l’occasion d’assumer des responsabilités, de se sentir utiles et d’être reconnus.

Les Aniérois: Les habitants d’Anières se nomment les Aniérois. Selon l’Office fédéral de la statistique, ils étaient au nombre de 2’577 au 31 décembre 2016. Superficie et altitude: La commune, dont la superficie est de 3,820 km2, est bordée de deux ruisseaux, l’Hermance et le Nant-d’Aisy. Son point culminant est à 414 m. Géographie: Elle comprend le village d’Anières et deux hameaux : Chevrens, à qui il ne manque que le clocheton d’une chapelle pour pouvoir revendiquer le titre de village, et Bassy, formé d’un petit groupe de maisons. Bordée par le lac, Anières fait frontières communes avec Hermance, Corsier et la France. La façade ouest de la commune d’Anières est constituée par le lac Léman. Les constructions occupent principalement la rive et les pentes exposées à l’ouest le long du lac, où elles côtoient le vignoble. Le reste de la commune est principalement constitué de surfaces cultivées, comprenant notamment les anciennes «Mouilles», et quelques bosquets forestiers résiduels. Les conditions y sont variées et malgré l’intensification agricole, il subsiste quelques lambeaux de milieux naturels intéressants, comme des prairies. Au sud-est, la frontière communale est formée par le Nant d’Aisy et à l’est par le tracé de l’Hermance. Le lit de ce cours d’eau francosuisse, creusé dans la moraine, forme à la fois un vallon boisé à l’aspect naturel et un corridor biologique très important pour la région. Une renaturation du tronçon entre le Pont Neuf et le Pont des Golettes a abouti en 2010. C’est dans ses eaux courantes que se trouve le site prioritaire situé sur la commune.

Bureau D'agglomération Aggloy
AggloY est une structure intercommunale composée de huit communes, d’acteurs politiques et techniques et de représentants du Canton de Vaud qui élaborent la planification globale et accompagne la mise en œuvre des projets de mobilité et d’urbanisation du projet d’agglomération yverdonnois. AggloY est composé d’un Comité de pilotage formé de représentants politiques, d’un groupe technique et d’un bureau technique. Le pilotage du projet est assuré au quotidien par le Bureau d’agglomération. Son rôle est d’assurer la transmission des informations aux différents organes décisionnaires, de faciliter le dialogue entre les autorités, les partenaires institutionnels et les mandataires, ainsi que de constituer les dossiers nécessaires aux projets envisagés. Afin d’assurer la bonne mise en œuvre des projets et le respect des objectifs d’AggloY, une convention de collaboration a été signée en 2007. Elle définit la collaboration entre les différents partenaires et les modalités de gestion du bureau technique. Région Glâne-Veveyse
La Région Glâne-Veveyse est l'association économique des 27 communes de la Glâne et de la Veveyse fribourgeoise dont le but est de coordonner le développement socio-économique du territoire de manière durable. Notre mission? Coordonner, promouvoir, développer, servir, etc… et la liste est infinie. La mission parait complexe, mais l’objectif, lui, est simple; le succès de la Région Glâne-Veveyse sur les aspects économiques et touristiques, dans les domaines de l'énergie, de la mobilité et de la planification territoriale. Notre premier rôle est certainement de créer le lien. Lien entre les communes, entre les entreprises, entre les entreprises et les autorités, entre les porteurs de projets potentiels. Et de les accompagner au mieux dans leurs démarches communes et leurs parcours. Nous sommes à disposition de tous les acteurs régionaux pour un conseil, un soutien, ou pour les mettre en réseau avec les partenaires qui leur permettront d'atteindre leurs objectifs.
