Grenada Investment Development Corporation Gidc
Initially called the Grenada Industrial Development Corporation, the GIDC was established as a statutory body to stimulate, facilitate and encourage the establishment and development of industry. On October 5, 2016, the Government of Grenada, through an Act of Parliament (Act No. 30 of 2016), gave GIDC its new name and mandate as an Economic Development Corporation. Now rebranded as the Grenada Investment Development Corporation, our primary responsibility is to promote and facilitate foreign and local investments in Grenada through a curated and specialized range of investment services to include policy advocacy on behalf of investor clients. The Corporation is also responsible for supporting the local MSME sector by fostering and facilitating new, emerging and existing Micro Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Today, the Corporation continues to be governed by a ten-member Board of Directors that includes a Chairman and a Deputy Chairman appointed by the Minister with responsibility for Finance.

Grenada Office Of Creative Affairs
The Grenada Office of Creative Affairs is a division of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. Our mandate is to create a favorable environment for the development of Grenada’s cultural and creative industries. The Office of Creative Affairs is responsible for developing policies and legislation for the development of the creative industries. We work to facilitate linkages between the Creative industries and other sectors and to provide concessions and other economic incentives for the Creative industries. We also raise awareness about Creative Industries, build the capacity of creative entrepreneurs through training programs, seminars, and other activities, and establish and manage a creative industry registry and business networking platforms. In addition, we create funding opportunities and promote information about existing funding opportunities for the creative industries, support the export of creative goods, and encourage the internationalization of the sector. We also support ongoing research activities in the Creative Industries.
