Belarusian State Medical University

Teaching at the University is provided at 70 departments (among them 28 theoretical and 42 clinical). The academic classes are organized at 56 teaching hospitals as well as research and practical centers. The academic process coordinated by the Academic and Methodology Board consisting of several departments and the Quality Management Sector is carried out at the corresponding faculties. Education at the University is practice oriented. On average, 70% of classes are either tutorials or practicals in labs. From the 2nd year onwards the academic process at the clinical departments is organized at the premises of the medical institutions of the Ministry of Health, which creates all the necessary facilities for students to acquire the knowledge and skills required by the curriculum. From the 3rd year (or from the 2nd year for those majoring in dentistry) onwards the students undergo practical training, which is supervised by highly qualified specialists of the corresponding health care institutions. The University actively implements innovative educational technologies meeting the Bologna process principles. All the University resources make up the educational portal which includes the BSMU official site and intra-net sites for teachers and students. Educational resources include a vast bank of full-text educational materials and visual aids, a considerable part of which has been created by the University teaching staff. The devised interactive E-textbooks help the students to get access to current educational literature, presentations of lectures, tests for self-training and self-control. The educational site provides numerous teaching and resource materials, regulatory documents for organizing the teaching process. They can be found both on the sites of the corresponding departments and on the intranet site for students.

On July 2, 1960 on the basis of the BSSR Council of Ministers Resolution No. 383 "Minsk Radio Engineering College" was established. Having started its activities in the period of formation and development of the electronic industry in the Republic of Belarus, Radio Technical College is gradually transformed into a top college. On 1 September 1960 200 students started their studies in the newly opened Minsk Radio Technical School, the establishment of which was determined by the development of industrial production, which identified the need of the republic in skilled technical personnel. The first set of students was carried out in the field- Electronic computers, instruments and devices - Radioapparatostroenie - Manufacture of electronic components and materials - Programming for High-speed mathematical machines 22 teachers are trained professionals for full-time and correspondence courses. Among them were veterans of the Great Patriotic War, including – Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Eliseevich Sambuc. In 1991, there was an order of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Belarus No.144 from 17 June."On the transformation of an experiment in Minsk Radio Technical School in the school of a new type, the college". In 1995, the college was again reorganized and gained new status and name "The Minsk State Higher Radio Technical College". On November 1, 2015 Minsk State Higher Radio Technical College transformed into UO BSUIR branch "Minsk Radioengineering College".

Брестский Государственный Технический Университет

Брестский государственный технический университет является крупным научно-учебным центром в западном регионе Республики Беларусь. Здесь осуществляется подготовка специалистов и выполняется большой объем научных исследований в сферах строительства, архитектуры, электроники, машиностроения, экономики и экологии. Это создает хорошую основу для совместной учебной и научной деятельности.
