The Guernsey Institute gives islanders access to a huge range of further and higher education opportunities; from apprenticeships to completing a masters on island, and from accredited business courses to adult evening classes, the breadth of the curriculum we offer helps cater for the needs of anyone in the Bailiwick. We want to serve industry by offering demand-led courses and apprenticeships, and we want to give people the chance to learn skills that will serve them for their whole lives.

Gradroutes Guernsey
GradRoutes Guernsey is an initiative designed to tackle the island’s graduate retention challenge and to counteract the current trend of talent loss. It forms part of The Guernsey Institute’s Adult Skills Strategy which sets out a targeted approach to help build a skilled, inclusive and agile island workforce. The programme will look at why graduates are not coming back to the island after their studies and will aim to encourage them to return by increasing awareness of viable career pathways in diverse industry sectors, and by promoting job and internship opportunities aligned with the needs of Guernsey’s employers. By strengthening the local talent pipeline, GradRoutes Guernsey will boost economic productivity, support employer needs, and foster stronger partnerships between businesses, education providers, and the States of Guernsey.
