Federal University Of Technology, Minna, Niger State
The Federal University of Technology, Minna is a Federal Government owned University in Nigeria. It was established on 1st February, 1983. The objective for its establishment is to give effect to the Nation’s drive for the much-needed self-reliance in Science, Engineering and especially Technology. It is a specialized University of Technology. The pioneer Vice-Chancellor was Professor J.O. Ndagi who served from 1983 to 1990. He was succeeded by Professor S.O. Adeyemi from 1990 and 1994. Between 1994 and 1997 Professor I.H. Umar served as Sole Administrator. Professor S.A. Garba was briefly acting Vice-Chancellor between 26 th June and 6th August, 1997. Adeniyi served from 7th August to 2nd October, 2002 as acting Vice Chancellor. Prof. H. Tukur Sa’ad was appointed Vice-Chancellor on 3rd October, 2002 and he served till 27th October, 2007. He was succeeded by Prof. M.S. Audu appointed on 26th November, 2007 and served till 26th November, 2012, He was succeeded by Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji, the 6th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University appointed on 3rd of December and served till 3rd December 2017. The current Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi Bala, the 7th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University was appointed on 3rd of December, 2017. Achievers University, Owo
Achievers University is a private-sector initiative, established in 2007 and accredited by the National Universities Commission, located in Owo, Ondo State Nigeria. The University began operations on 2nd April 2008, having graduated 9 sets of graduands. Ownership Achievers Continuous Education Centre was initially a family business of Hon. Dr. Bode Ayorinde. The business was formally registered in 1994 as a private limited liability company. However, the decision to expand the scope of the Educational Institute towards the establishment of a private University caused the family to invite notable personalities to join the company. The offer, through a private placement, attracted important personalities like Chief Mrs. Olutoyin Olakunri, Sen. The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi
The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi is one of the seven Polytechnics established by the Federal Military Government under Decree No. 33 of July 1979. Decree. 33 of 1979 stipulates the functions of the Polytechnic as follows:(a) To provide full-time or part-time courses of instruction and training in technology, applied science, commerce, management and in such other fields of applied learning relevant to the needs of the development of Nigeria in the areas of industrial and Agricultural production and distribution and for research in the development and adaptation of techniques as the Council may from time to time determine.(b) To arrange conferences, seminars, and study groups relative to the fields of learning specified above, and;(c) To perform such other function(s) as in the opinion of the Council that may serve to promote the objectives of the Polytechnic.

Bayero University, Kano
The seed of Bayero University Kano was the Ahmadu Bello College set up in 1960, located within the School for Arabic Studies (SAS), in the old city of Kano. With the establishment of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1962, it was renamed Abdullahi Bayero College. In 1964 it moved to a temporary site at the old Kano Airport Hotel, admitting its first set of ten undergraduate students for a B.A. degree programme of Ahmadu Bello University. This first set graduated in 1966 but it continued as a faculty of ABU until 1980. Before then the temporary site had attracted hostile fire during the civil war and had to move to its permanent site (present old campus) in the vicinity of Kabuga and Dukawuya gates on the Kano-Gwarzo road. The next phase of development occurred in 1975, when Abdullahi Bayero College was raised to the status of a University College with the right to award degrees on behalf of Ahmadu Bello University and was renamed Abdullahi Bayero University College, with its own Governing Council. All University Colleges in the country were raised to the status of fullfledged universities in 1977 by the Federal Government and Abdullahi Bayero University College became Bayero University, Kano (BUK)(backed by the promulgation of BUK Decree no 79 of 1979). Dr. Mahmud Tukur, the Principal of the University College became its pioneer Vice-Chancellor (1977-78) leading the team that laid the foundation and initiated the process that gave rise to the present permanent site and the shape of the university as we know it today. The following had all been Vice Chancellors of Bayero University Kano after Dr. Mahmud Tukur: Prof. James O.C. Ezeilo (1978- 79), Prof. Ibrahim H. Umar (1979-86), Prof. Dandatti Abdulkadir (1986-91), Prof. M. S. Zahraddeen (1991-95), Prof. B.B. Dambatta (1995-99), Prof. Musa Abdullahi Prof. Danjuma A. Maiwada (Acting VC, 2004- 05), and Prof. Attahiru M. Jega (2005-July 2010), Prof. A.A Rasheed (2010 to 2015), Prof. Yahuza Bello

Kaduna State University
The Kaduna State University was established under the Kaduna State law promulgated in May 2004. The promulgation followed the need to boost higher education in the northern and southern parts of the state. Consequently, two campuses were approved: one in Kaduna and the other in Kafanchan. The Kaduna campus took off first, running basic degree programs by former Governor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the then executive governor of Kaduna State and Visitor to the university, appointed Professor Idris Abdulkadir to be the pro-chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council while Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo was appointed the first vice-chancellor. Professor Aminu S. Mikailu, took over from Professor Sambo as second vice-chancellor when the latter was appointed by the Federal Government to head the Nigerian Energy Commission. Professor Ezzeldin Muktar Abdurahman was the third VC. Professor W.B. Quirix was appointed as the fourth VC in January 2012. However, he did not complete the full five-year tenure. Subsequently, Professor Ado-Baba Ahmed was appointed as the Acting Vice-Chancellor from 16 September 2016 until 24 January 2017. Professor Muhammad Tanko took office as Vice-Chancellor from 2017 to 2021.[4] Professor Yohanna Tella acted as VC from January to June 2022. Professor Abdullahi Musa Ashafa briefly assumed the role of Acting Vice-Chancellor from 22 June 2022 until the appointment of Prof Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa by Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the Government of Kaduna State as the present Vice-Chancellor on the 19 of October, 2022.[5] His Royal Highness, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is the current Pro-chancellor, while Hussaini Adamu Dikko is the Chairman of the Governing Council.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is a tertiary institution located in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. The university enrolls students and employs more than workers including contract staff. For two consecutive seasons, in 2003 and 2004, the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) rated LAUTECH as the best state university in Nigeria.[2] The main campus is in Oyo state. This campus is the site of the university's administration, as well as home to five faculties and the post-graduate school.
