Tajik Technical University
Tajik Technical University (TTU) named after academician M. Osimi was founded in 1956 as a Stalinabad Polytechnical Institute. TTU is the first and leading higher technical educational institution in Tajikistan. In 1961 Stalinabad Polytechnical Institute was renamed into the Tajik Polytechnic Institute (TPI). In 1992 Tajik Polytechnical Institute was awarded the status of the Technical University. In 1997 the Tajik Technical University was named after the first rector – the famous scientist and statesman Muhammad Osimi Over the years the University has trained more than engineers, architects, industry economists and scientific-pedagogical specialists of high qualification in the field of energy, architecture and construction, transport, telecommunications technology, management and transport construction, as well as metallurgy and chemical engineering, who work not only in Tajikistan, but also far abroad. University is constantly developing new and effective methods of organizing and improving the educational process and research activities aimed to develop the professional thinking of future specialists, to train highly qualified engineers capable to solve the most important technical and social problems. Currently, training is conducted on 64 specialties at 40 humanities general education, general engineering departments. The University has 7 faculties, Khujand Polytechnical Institute and Dushanbe Technical College. Also, the University has 8 dormitories including one for foreigners

Institute Of Economy And Trade Of Tsuc
The main goal of the Institute is to implement the decrees and edicts of the President, His Excellency, Emomali Rahmon for training competitive specialists in the global labor market. For this purpose, 4 primary objectives were identified:1) delivering high quality economic and legal knowledge; 2) high capacity of communication in labor activity; 3) use of modern innovative technologies; 4) fluency in at least 3 or 4 languages. The state educational institution “Institute of Economy and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce in Khujand city” (IET TSUC) was established by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on February 12, 2010 under №59 and has a license for educational activity № AU on November 8, 2012 and a certificate of the state accreditation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan (Series IA from May 10, 2011. A group of foreign specialists and experts from France, Spain, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have verified that the Institute is ready for international accreditation.

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University
Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (ATSMU) is a public university in Tajikistan. Established in 1939, it is located in Dushanbe and named after the Persian polymath Abuali Ibni Sino (also spelled Avicenna). It is managed by the Ministry of Health and is the only higher medical education facility in Tajikistan preparing medical personnel for the country.

Then, in 1993, by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 80, from February 19, 1993, it was transformed into the Technological University of Tajikistan. The Technological University of Tajikistan is the only university in the Republic of Tajikistan that trains competitive specialists in the field of light and food industries. Khujand Polytechnic Institute Of Tajik Technical University
Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University is a young, expanding institution with great potential for development. Today, it is working resolutely to develop its research, guaranteeing the quality of its operational activities and extending the scope of its international networking. The Institute grew out of the Khujand Branch of Tajik Technical University (founded in 1980) and Khujand Branch of Technological University of Tajikistan (founded in 1992). These two institutions came together to form the Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University (KPITTU) in 2010. KPITTU is a public research institute located in Khujand, which is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, dating back about 2,500 years. It is situated on the Syr Darya at the mouth of the Fergana Valley and was a major city along the ancient Silk Road. The Institute offers 19 Bachelor's, 17 Master's and 9 PhD programs through its four faculties and research is conducted in 13 different areas. KPITTU has 357 staff, including 205 teaching and research staff, of which, over 31 are from Enterprises. There are 3,751 students in total, including 3,458 Bachelor’s, 224 Master’s, 69 PhD students. The institute has over 13,339 graduates worldwide.

Tajik National University (abbreviated as TNU; tadzh. Donishgohi millii Tojikiston) is the first and one of the largest universities in Tajikistan, one of the centers for the development of culture, education and science in the country. Founded in 1947, located in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan - Dushanbe. Tajik State University was established by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR dated March 21, 1947 No. Initially, there were four faculties - geological and soil, biological, historical and philological and (since 1949) physical and mathematical. Classes at TSU began on September 1, 1948 in the building of the Dushanbe State Pedagogical Institute named after Shevchenko. In the first academic year, 240 students were enrolled in three faculties, 17 teachers and 19 part-time workers, including 2 professors and 8 associate professors, only one teacher had a doctorate, four teachers had a Ph.D. The university has: 19 faculties, 116 specialized departments, 7 general university departments, Research Institute, Lyceum with a natural and mathematical bias, Scientific and electronic library, 112 research and educational laboratories, 10 Internet centers, 52 computer classes, 39 language laboratories, Biotechnology Center, Technological Park, Confucius Institute, Preparatory Department, 4 sports halls, 3 experimental bases, Dispensary and Medical Center.

Then, in 1993, by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 80, from February 19, 1993, it was transformed into the Technological University of Tajikistan. Despite its youth, the Technological University of Tajikistan is one of the leaders of educational institutions of higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan. It strives to realize the goals of the state strategy in the field of education, and is also focused on improving its status in the global educational space. The Technological University of Tajikistan is the only university in the Republic of Tajikistan that trains competitive specialists in the field of light and food industries. The University of Technology of Tajikistan is one of two pilot universities that began the transition to a credit education system. In 2005 the students of two faculties of the university – engineering – economics and international faculty began to study on credit technology. During the past years, the university has accumulated a lot of experience in credit technology and currently all educational and methodological provisions for training in credit technology has been developed. The University has a Consultation and Registration Center, which accumulates information about the entire student learning path from admission to graduation.
