Kulturno Turistički Centar Bistra
Today's Cultural and Tourist Centre Bistra is an old school, which is a protected cultural property. It is listed on the List of Protected Cultural Properties in the Register of Cultural Properties of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia under the number Z-6513. The school was renovated as part of the project ''Renovation of the Old School Building and Cultural and Tourist Revitalization through the ITU Mechanism - BISTRA ECOMUSEUM The applicant and project leader was the Municipality of Bistra, and the partners were the Zagreb County Tourist Board and the Bistra Ecomuseum Association. The building had 2 classrooms and 2 apartments for teachers, and today it is divided into 3 floors. On the ground floor is an info centre, which will soon have a souvenir shop with products from the Bistra area. The permanent exhibition, located on the first floor, is divided into several sections:"Nature and the Supernatural","Life and Customs","Earth and Work" and a classroom. The attic is a multipurpose space intended for various events such as workshops, temporary exhibitions, poetry evenings, smaller concerts and various other events. WORKING HOURS Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM Tuesday, Thursday: 9 AM - 7 PM & every first and third Saturday in month: 9 AM - 1 PM (or by arrangement)
