These Specialist Associations ensure we maintain our target of representing the majority of horticultural producers in Zimbabwe. The Union representation helps reach those who desire to export in the not too distant future.

Evolving from a social development program funded by Anglo American and implemented by TechnoServe in 2020, Takura has transformed into a dynamic and impactful company, officially registered in 2024. Nestled on a 15-hectare site with a scenic natural landscape, Takura’s state-of-the-art packhouse is at the heart of its operations. Completed in 2024, the facility can accommodate up to 200 employees and ensures efficient handling and export of high-quality crops, including sugar snap peas, fine French beans, baby sweet corn, bird's eye chilies, and rock melons. With GLOBALGAP-certified production and Sedex registration, Takura meets international standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
