Wij – de bezielers van de Felix – zijn sinds juni 2009 aan de slag om van dit (pak)huis een gezellige ‘thuis’ te maken. Een thuis voor gasten, een thuis voor gepassioneerde leveranciers, een thuis voor artiesten, een thuis voor collega’s,… En het lukt aardig, maar niet zonder slag en stoot. We investeerden ikweetniethoeveel centen om ‘ons ding’ te kunnen doen. En ‘ons ding’, dat is elke dag opnieuw gasten ontvangen, ze een fijn glas wijn of een heerlijke maaltijd aanbieden, hun huwelijksfeest of een vergadering met collega’s verzorgen, of gewoon een plek aanreiken om gezellig te vertoeven. Maar ‘ons ding’ dat is ook sfeervolle concerten & fijne filmavonden organiseren, schone kunst promoten en culinaire workshops in elkaar steken,… We gaan blijven investeren, want we geloven in onze dromen, en in die van jullie. Dromen van een schone toekomst, in onze Stad, op ’t Eilandje, in de Felix… Intussen is de Felix een plek waar je op ’t Eilandje en zelfs in Antwerpen niet naast kan. Kijk maar naar de talloze artikels in binnen- en buitenlandse media en naar de stevige opkomst op onze initiatieven.
