The Holding of Bonab Sanat Complex steel factory with the goal of having activities in various fields of steel industry established from several major hot rolling and melting companies. This Holding started its activities from the late of (2005) in an area of 140 hectares with the ideal infrastructure facilities including access to major roads, railways, power plants, transmission lines such as: gas and water, in several phases in industrial city of Bonab. The Holding of Bonab Sanat Complex steel factory has four subsidiary factories and totally contains seven hot rolling lines and two melting shops and continuous casting lines.Types of ribbed steel bar, beam, angles, channel bars and rods of alloy are producing in hot rolling lines and steel billets with the dimensions of 150 × 150 in 12 or 6 meters in length are producing in melting and casting lines.It should be noted that the second line in melting and casting of this factory that has been exploited in 92 (2014) contains Electric Arc Furnace with a capacity of 50 thousand now, Bonab Sanat complex steel factory is the only holder of this technology in northwest of the country. The nominal capacity of this production set in hot rolling of steel sections is two million and five hundred thousand tons and it is eight hundred thousand tons of steel billets in melting and casting unit for per year. This Industrial complex has schedules in development ofits projects and seriously is following the fulfillment of its production lines to increase the production capacity and it is the company's major project in construction phase that it will be used for production of sponge iron and steel billets with the capacity of one and a half million tons and two hot rolling lines in heavy and mid heavy section, is in schedule of activities.
