Qazaq Green Association
Association was established in 2018 as a non-profit organisation, promoting renewable energy in Kazakhstan and uniting investors, developers, equipment manufacturers, international financial institutions and universities. As of October 7, 2021 the Association was renamed to Qazaq Green Association to promote green economy principles and contribute to the achievement of carbon neutrality. Association members receive a number of important benefits: qualified support on the implementation of RES projects in Kazakhstan at all stages, promotion companies’ interests, obtaining up-to-date information on Kazakhstan RES legal framework, making proposals to government bodies through the Association in order to update regulatory RES documents, obtaining information and analytical support, as well as the opportunity of promoting the company in the Kazakhstan market through the association media channels. Association is accredited by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'Atameken' and is considered as one of the key expert centres for renewable energy development in Kazakhstan for both government agencies and the business community. Mission: Formation of a holistic position of the association members to obtain attractive conditions for investment in renewable energy projects. Association key objectives 1. Representation and protection of interests of the Association members 2. Outreach work on green energy projects in Kazakhstan for Association members and interested investors; 3. Improving the investment climate by makiтg proposals on legislative amendments of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 4. Cooperation with international financial institutions; 5. Representing the industry in the international arena to attract investment and best practices.
