In March 2018, after six (6) successful years, we decided to no longer operate our Retail Store and instead re-focus on our website and online services, including shopping. Business Overview Aspiring Minds aims to provide quick, convenient and reliable access to the best history resources in a wide range of categories about Trinidad and Tobago. It has been designed to benefit teachers, students and citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, however general history enthusiasts and tourists can benefit as well. The website provides information about our history, past governors, presidents and persons who have inspired as well as laid the foundation in various fields in our nation. On includes links to activities, games quizzes and quality content for children as well as adults, it also provides a service to our school PTA’s to promote their upcoming events and activities, in the Raising Awareness section we provide information on diseases to assist raising not only funds but awareness and support. We also promote small businesses. Company History Through the motivation to give our children the best education possible, it was found that quality information about Trinidad & Tobago was difficult to find and vague. The idea of Aspiring Minds Online came after a particular conversation with my eldest son, which sparked conversations with other children as well as parents and teachers. Management Aspiring Minds is owned by BettyAnn Byng, a Early Childhood Care and Education Teacher and Geriatric Care Nurse. She sits as a Board Member at the St. Dorcas Home for the Aged and Geriatric Care Limited a non-profit organization which her mother was founder. She is the PTA President at the Mon Repos R.C School. And sits on the Hirschsprung Disease Awareness Committee. Location Aspiring Minds is currently based at Harmony Hall Gasparillo. But in looking to the future Aspiring Minds home base would be reestablished at #18 Smith Street Mon Repos (registered business address since 2007).
