Sociological Collection Of The Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library, Budapest

The Sociological collection of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library in Budapest is the biggest sociological collection in Hungarian Sociology. The department creates the bibliography of Hungarian sociology /1900-1929, 1970-/. In the Sociological reading room there are ca. books, reference books and journals in different languages. The website of the Sociological collection offers remote acces to the most important sociological databases, online and e-book collections for the registered users. Librarians of the department regularly take tutor programs for the library users.

Jászberényi Városi Könyvtár

A Jászság szívében található könyvtár a volt zsinagóga helyén, azt stilizálva épült fel. Elsődleges feladata a könyvtári tevékenység mellett a Jászság helyismereti jelentőségű dokumentumainak gyűjtése, feltárása. Szolgáltatásai között szerepelnek a felnőtt és gyermekkönyvtári szolgáltatások, olvasóterem, internethasználat. 2018-ban elnyerte a Minősített Könyvtári Címet, 2023-ban a Könyvtári Minőségi Díj-at. A könyvtári szolgálatásokon túl országos szinten egyedi tevékenységeket folytat. Jászsági Népmesepont Az élőszavas mesemondás otthona Jászberényben a Jászsági Népmesepont. A 2018-ban nyílt közösségi hely célja a hagyományos magyar népmese, a népmesemondás, a mesei gondolkodás és nevelés népszerűsítése, beépítésének elősegítése a kulturális intézmények informális és nem formális szolgáltatási kínálatába, NépmesePontok létrehozásával támogatva a nevelési-oktatási intézmények tanulóinak iskolai foglalkozáson kívüli kompetenciafejlesztését, ismeret- és tudásgyarapítását a kulturális intézmények által megvalósított, a formális oktatást támogató és kiegészítő kulturális nevelés által. Csillagda A 2008. november 7-én felavatott csillagda kupolája gyönyörű kialakítású, az országban egyedülálló faszerkezetű, kívül vörösréz borítással. A benne rejlő távcső egy 150/1200-as refraktor, Gemini-41-es mechanikával, Pulsar vezérléssel.
