Apm Terminals Moin
La Terminal de Contenedores de Moín (TCM) está construida en una isla artificial frente a la costa caribeña de Costa Rica. En funcionamiento desde febrero de 2019, su objetivo es ser el puerto más eficiente de América Latina y un símbolo de seguridad y progreso, en armonía con el medio ambiente. La Terminal de Contenedores de Moín, con una capacidad anual de 1,2 millones de TEUs, ocupa unas 40 hectáreas (potencial para 2,5 millones de TEUs y 80 hectáreas) con un muelle de 650 metros y una profundidad de 14,5 metros. El canal de acceso tiene una profundidad de 18 metros. Equipada con 29 grúas eléctricas para contenedores y seis grúas pórtico Super-Post Panamax (23 row outreach), la terminal es capaz de manejar buques portacontenedores de hasta 8.500 TEUs, 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana, 365 días al año.
