Vuda Marina is part of the larger Tradewinds Marine group, which has a rich family history. Lisa's father, Tony C. Philp established and runs the multi-faceted Tradewinds Marine Group. Our sister marina is The Coprashed Marina in Savusavu and we have a satellite marina named The Royal Exploring Isles Yacht Club on Vanuabalavu, Lau. Additionally, Tradewinds Marine owns and operates The Yacht Shop chandleries throughout Fiji and is renowned for the production of Islander Fibreglass Boats.

Royal Suva Yacht Club
The club was founded around 1932 and while originally located closer to town, the current building in Walu Bay was built circa 1940. The rich history of the club can be found dotted around the clubhouse with trophies, photos and mementos on display. Coming ashore at the Royal Suva Yacht Club is convenient and hassle free as the club offers a comprehensive range of facilities to boat owners, plus social facilities for its associated members. Overseas sailors can use the facilities for a small fee. If you intend to use the Royal Suva Yacht Clubs facilities, you will need to register with the club and become a temporary member.

South Sea Towage Limited holds a reviewable term Contract with Fiji Ports Corporation Ltd which provides it with sole rights to conduct all movements and other related services within Fiji Ports Corporation designated Ports, Suva and Lautoka, Malau, Wariki and while this remains its Core Business, a considerable part of its operations involves Outer Port work, Salvage operations, Machine Shop and Engineering Contract work. At ‘Suva’ Port South Sea Towage Limited provides a 24 hour response service, with tug and crew stationed at the wharf, which helps in service levels and response time to any incidents relating to vessel and wharf safety. In ‘Lautoka’ port the service is also 24 hours but with one hour notice required to uplift crew.
