Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd
Welcome to Carisbrooke Shipping. Carisbrooke Shipping owns / operates a fleet of over 20 modern dry cargo and multi-purpose vessels from offices in Cowes (UK) and Rotterdam (NL). All key aspects of ship management are covered by the Carisbrooke Group, including chartering / operations, technical and safety management, crewing and financial administration. The vessels managed are modern, with an average age of around 13 years and excellent safety records, and the company has developed a fleet of fuel-efficient vessels over the past few years. The vessels trade worldwide and are operated by highly-trained, multinational crews. The focus of our first newbuild program back in the 1990s was the European dwt coaster market, wherein we already had a presence servicing various trades between North Europe-UK to the Mediterranean and Black Sea, and vice-versa, carrying multiple commodities, but principally grain, fertilizers, coal and steels. The vessels operating since then have shared a multi-purpose open-hatch and box-shaped hold commonality, enabling them to carry various types of cargoes, including containers, palletized cargo, forest products and project cargoes such as pipes, wind mill blades and leisure yachts. In order to meet both customer demand and new developing trades, we upgraded our initial dwt new-building program into a deep-sea trans-oceanic version, increasing the sizes to 10,500 dwt and dwt and fitting them with heavy-duty self-sustained cranes and tweendecks. The success of this new program helped us in tailoring future new designs of geared dwt bulkers, 12,400 dwt MPP-Tween and grab-fitted 13,400 dwt bulkcarriers, which are now the backbone of our deep-sea trade. The company is proud of the level of service it provides to customers and of the standards it upholds.

Tides Marine, Inc
Founded in 1991, the company’s longevity can be attributed to solving two common problems –leaky shaft seals and mainsails that are difficult to raise and lower single-handedly. ABS-approved, Tides Marine Self Aligning SureSeal® shaft seals are widely recognized as the industry standard. The SureSeal is connected to the vessel's stern tube using an articulating, single-convolution hose. The hose design automatically positions the SureSeal® the correct operating distance from the stern tube. No measurements are required. The SureSeal® design incorporates a removable front cap, which improves access to the lip seal. A worn lip seal can be replaced, even while the vessel is in the water. The Tides Marine Sail Track & Slide System is a high performance, low friction mainsail luff track and slide system built to handle the increased loads and demands of today's full or partially battened, large roach and high aspect mainsails. Tides is also a leading supplier of durable, water-tight and abrasion-resistant bearing products that eliminate metal-on-metal contact and the associated problems of abrasion, electrolysis and corrosion. Tides Marine also distributes MATE Horns, Pumps and Rub Rail, Super Stainless Marine Grade Stainless Steel Cleaner. The MATE product range features: bilge, water, deck washing, diesel and oil transfer pumps; IMO/USCG approved horns; patented Radial™ cold-fit rub rail; and the unique, stylish stainless steel Sphaera rub rail, co-extruded with rigid and shockproof PVC.
