Misurata Marine Terminal

Misurata Marine Terminal was established under the Investment Promotion Law as the first experiment in the partnership between the public sector represented by the Libyan Iron and Steel Company and the private sector represented by the Kevalay Company for Investment and Tourism Services. The station was established on one of the berths of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company’s port. The design of the buildings and construction took into account the latest technical specifications and aesthetic aspects, as the area of departure and arrival halls and service facilities that meet the needs of travelers is about square meters. The station has been provided with the latest security monitoring systems, devices, and equipment, whether for passengers and their luggage, or vehicles and commercial goods shipped on the ships used at the station, to ensure the safety of passengers and maintain the security and safety of the city. The station is expected to start its work in February 2021 by running a marine line between Misurata and the Turkish city of Istanbul with a weekly trip. Another marine line will be launched to Tunisian ports in the middle of 2021 and before the end of the year a third line to Alexandria and an increase in the number of trips according to the volume of demand. We are working on making the Misurata marine station a destination for everyone who desires family tourism and tourist groups, starting from marine fun onboard modern and internationally classified ships for these purposes, to bookings for enjoyable tourist programs in the country of arrival, and ending with a comfortable and safe return to the homeland.
