The importance of Special Operations Forces and Homeland Security is growing spontaneously. Founded in 1996 by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) continues to grow edition on edition, acquiring paramount ranking amongst the specialized defense exhibitions. SOFEX provides an ideal platform to present and demonstrate new and innovative equipment and technologies in order to deliver swift, decisive and effective solutions that will help international Special Operations and Homeland Security decision makers and armed forces maintain the security and safety in their countries, regions and around the world. It is also considered a vital gathering for exchanging views and experiences while strengthening relationships with armed forces, security agencies, governments and key businesses from around the world.

The Royal Jordanian Command And Staff College
Since its inception in 1954 in Az Zarqa as the Staff School for Jordan Infantry, other military services and brethren and friendly countries, the Command and Staff College (CSC) has evolved to meet the educational and operational needs of the Jordan Army. It has generally been known as the staff school. The College educates officers from military services and from many countries. Since that time the CSC is focused on the program of Leader Development and Education, along with a number of other schools and centers whose missions are centered on leader development and education In 1973 the college was renamed as “The Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College”. In 1986 the college was relocated to its current location (Amman) and upgraded to have 150 students. 25-30% of slots were designated for international students. In 1996 RJCSC was integrated with the Royal Air Command and staff college.
