Mining of precious and bulk minerals has characterized Liberia's sector for centuries, however efforts to establish a Chamber of Mines are more recent and remain in early formation stage. With interest actively growing the Chamber is on an inaugural membership drive, having canvassed the Liberian mining landscape to understand commitment and identify priorities and needs. The Chamber's five thematic priorities include advocacy, access to resources, compliance, advisory and access to markets.
