The Kentoni Collection
Η συλλογή Κεντώνη είναι μία νεανική πρωτοβουλία, που συνιδρύθηκε από τους Αντώνη Κεντώνη και Γκάμπριελ Ρομπέρτο Γκριρ, που στοχεύει στην προώθηση της προσιτής διαπολιτισμικής παιδείας μέσω των επιλεγμένων αντικειμένων που καλύπτουν ποικίλες περιόδους ιστορίας και πολιτισμού. Από την ίδρυσή της το 2021, έχουν ξεκινήσει προσπάθειες για την ψηφιοποίηση της Συλλογής και τη μετατροπή της σε εκπαιδευτικό πόρο για την Κύπρο, αποκτώντας αντικείμενα από ξένους πολιτισμούς που δεν εκπροσωπούνται σε κυπριακά μουσεία και ιδρύματα. Μερικά από τα θέματα που έχουν επισημανθεί στις συλλογές μας περιλαμβάνουν: Τις Τέχνες της Ασίας, Τέχνες του Ισλαμικού Κόσμου και Ιστορικά Χρωστικά & Υλικά Τέχνης.

Cultural engineering Through an innovative cultural engineering and multidisciplinary approach, we aim to build lasting bridges between cultures by developing scientific methodologies for events and mediation, to facilitate international exchanges using cultural diplomacy tools. Curation Our mission is to shape cultural experiences through expert curatorial engineering, transforming spaces into territories of emotion and discovery that combine contemporary relevance with historical significance. Museology Carrying out museological studies to develop and improve museum practices. Through research, consultancy and support activities, we help to set up museological and museographic projects that meet public expectations. Our expertise covers everything from audience analysis and conservation methods to cultural mediation and the digital transformation of institutions.
