It works to forge better knowledge and understanding of the art scene in Georgia. Its primary goal is to bring Georgian contemporary art to the the forefront of the international art world and offer a new interpretation of contemporary artistic production of the country.

Სსიპ Სმირნოვების Მუზეუმი
The Museum is situated in the house of grandson of the maid of honour Alexandra Smirnova-Rosetti (1809-1882). The architect of the house was Germany Otto Simonson. In 1985, the descendant of Alexandra Smirnova-Rosetti Mikhail Smirnov presented to Georgian State house and relics once belonged to three generations of his ancestors that made a basis for the museum. At the moment, the museum houses collection of the c.c. paintings (Franz Xavier Winterhalter, Ivan Aivazovski, Franz Kruger etc.), sculpture, lithography, items of applied art; c.c. European and Russian unique furniture; household and personal objects, unique library, photographs and documental materials.
