Singapore History Consultants Pte Ltd
Founded in 1995, we are Singapore's first private historical research house. Our business is diverse but it is anchored by one thing: History. As educators, we teach history by taking students out of the classroom and bringing soldiers to battlefields long forgotten. As docents, we have set, and continue to set, professional standards and high benchmarks for the tour guide industry. As history consultants, we partner both public and private institutions to work on research projects that preserve Singapore’s living heritage and historic sites, and bring to life their unique stories. As cultural asset management experts, we specialise in rescuing uniquely Singaporean heritage landmarks from oblivion, raising them to world-class standards, hence saving them for future generations. As a firm, we are dedicated to celebrating Singapore’s rich past. And make no mistake – Singapore’s history is as colourful as it is dramatic, filled with tales that will move and inspire.

Mint Museum Of Toys
The MINT Museum of Toys: Preserving Nostalgia, Imagination, and Cultural Heritage Nestled in the heart of Singapore’s vibrant arts and heritage district is a hidden gem that celebrates the universal joy of childhood—The MINT Museum of Toys. Purpose-built with passion and vision, the museum is home to an extraordinary collection of vintage toys and childhood memorabilia, lovingly assembled over six decades by a private collector born in 1950s Singapore. Far from being merely a nostalgic time capsule, the museum is a vibrant cultural and educational space that honours the role toys play in shaping history, imagination, and identity. What “MINT” Means The name “MINT” stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys, a phrase that perfectly captures the museum’s mission. It also alludes to the condition in which the toys are preserved—mint condition, or as close to pristine as possible. Despite many of the items being well over half a century old, the collection is maintained with exacting care. This commitment to quality preservation stems from the belief that toys are not just frivolous objects but cultural artefacts, worthy of being studied, admired, and shared. The Largest Vintage Toy Collection in Asia The MINT Museum of Toys proudly holds the title of having one of the largest collections of vintage toys and childhood memorabilia in Asia. The ever-growing collection boasts over carefully curated pieces originating from more than 54 countries, including unlikely toy-producing nations such as Estonia, Bulgaria, Morocco, Uruguay, and Kazakhstan. More than just an international showcase, the museum also pays homage to Singapore’s own toy-making legacy. During the 1950s and 60s, local factories such as Blue-Box and the Singapore Toys Co. Ltd were instrumental in manufacturing toys that found their way into homes across Southeast Asia.
