Celtic Collections Ltd
Celtic Collections is an Irish independent record label founded in 1996, and based in Dublin, Ireland. Celtic Collections specialises in Irish traditional and Celtic music, and has built up a large catalogue of prestigious albums by Irish artists. Celtic Collections’ evolution over time has seen it grow to nurture and promote Irish artists, particularly outside Ireland. In May 2004 David Kavanagh’s Liffey Records purchased the Celtic Collections label. Irish music businessman and former manager of Clannad, David Kavanagh had, in 1993, set up the successful record label, Celtic Heartbeat, with Paul McGuinness, then manager of U2. Celtic Heartbeat capitalised on the resurgence of interest in Irish music, notably in America. Its first major success was an album based on the music from the phenomenally successful theatrical show, Riverdance. David Kavanagh’s marketing strategy included a thorough refurbishment of the way in which the label’s music – as well as the overall image of Irish music - was represented internationally. The label’s emphasis was on improving recording standards for an audience whose tastes were becoming more attuned & sophisticated. One of the most successful of releases under the new owners of Celtic Collections was Celtic Woman. From their debut release in 2005, Celtic Woman have gone on to sell over 10 million albums and DVDs and 4 million tickets worldwide, and have been nominated for a Grammy award in 2016. David Kavanagh continued to build the Celtic Collections catalogue and promote Irish music sales around the world. In 2008, Celtic Collections had signed another very successful music act – The High Kings, an Irish folk/ballad group that has gone on to achieve huge success across Ireland, the UK, Europe and America. In 2016, Janine Nallen joined Celtic Collections as CEO.

Hausu
Hausu is an artists collective and record label based in Cork, Ireland, founded in a late 2017 around a buzz of activity by a close group of friends and collaborators. We mainly work in home studios, with some label members living and recording together every day. Taking our namesake from the Japanese film Hausu, known for strange vivid yet home-made special effects, we aim to carry that same spirit. This label is an independent platform that celebrates DIY music and cross-genre experimentation; a home for sounds and ideas ranging from post-punk to alternative R&B, from instrumental hip-hop to psychedelic indie rock. With roots laid as far apart as LA and Dublin, features on national radio, global Spotify playlists, festival stages and more, we continue to punch above our weight. We remain fiercely independent and committed to artists in our community, including designing and distributing physical releases for local artists we love. We've worked with artists like Alex Gough, Pat Lagoon, and Marcus Woods on collaborations and remixes. Preparing debut albums and other huge projects to come, Hausu aims to make a global impact in the years ahead.

Imro
The Irish Music Rights Organisation CLG (IMRO) is a national organisation that administers the performing right in copyright music in Ireland on behalf of its members (who are songwriters, composers and music publishers) and on behalf of the songwriters, composers and music publishers of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it. A public performance of copyright music takes place when that music is used anywhere outside of the domestic environment. A not-for-profit organisation, IMRO´s function is to collect and distribute royalties arising from the public performance of copyright works. Music users such as broadcasters, venues and businesses pay for their use of copyright music by way of a blanket licence fee. IMRO collects these monies and distributes them to the songwriters, composers and music publishers who created the songs. The monies earned by copyright owners in this way are known as public performance royalties. IMRO is also prominently involved in the sponsorship and promotion of music in Ireland. Every year it sponsors a large number of song contests, music festivals, seminars, workshops, research projects and showcase performances. Indeed, IMRO is now synonymous with helping to showcase emerging talent in Ireland.

Recorded Artists Actors Performers Raap
Recorded Artists Actors Performers (RAAP) is a not-for-profit organisation set up by performers for performers to ensure that musicians receive performance royalties from broadcast recordings. Following the introduction of the Copyright Act RAAP was set up to administer and distribute performance royalties to artists. All artists, main and session musicians, are entitled to a payment when a sound recording, they have contributed to, is communicated to the public around the world. RAAP also represents actors working on their behalf to claim royalties for their audio-visual rights. Based in Ireland, RAAP has agreements with over 50 territories globally, and continues to cultivate relationships with other markets to ensure all our members are represented equally. Since launching in 2001, RAAP has collected and distributed performance royalties in excess of €100 million, to more than performers in Ireland and abroad. The performance right exists throughout Europe and in many other countries around the world. RAAP continues to engage in collecting income for our members through international reciprocal agreements, entered under E.U. and W.I.P.O. directives. RAAP continues to lobby Government for legislative change as we take our role seriously in protecting the property rights of our members. We are driven by the belief that all performers should benefit from the exploitation of their performances. The creativity and cultural diversity that performers and their performances bring to society has enriched and defined the fabric of communities. Performers therefore deserve to be rewarded for their endeavours. Contact RAAP at (01) 278 8724/ info@raap.ie & https://raap.ie/
