Cully Jazz Festival
Le Cully Jazz Festival a été créé en 1983 par deux amis, Emmanuel Gétaz et Daniel Thentz. D'abord organisé en société simple, les membres du comité d'organisation ont décidé de constituer une association de droit privé en 1997. De 1983 à 1995, les concerts principaux avaient lieu dans la salle Davel, au centre du village de Cully. Un incendie l'ayant détruite en novembre 1995, les organisateurs décidèrent de monter un chapiteau sur la Place d'Armes, au bord du lac. Cette décision a permis de donner un nouvel essor au festival, puisque le lieu des concerts principaux est passé de 400 à 600 puis 950 places assises. La fondation Lavaux-Cully-Jazz a été créée en 1987 dans le but de soutenir le festival et de promouvoir le jazz dans le district de Lavaux. Dès les premières années, les habitants et en particulier les vignerons du bourg de Cully ont ouvert les portes de leur caveau pour y accueillir musiciens et festivaliers. Le festival OFF propose une douzaine de scènes où tout les styles de jazz se rencontrent. Aujourd'hui, le Cully Jazz Festival est une manifestation reconnue pour la qualité de sa programmation et de son accueil. Plus de personnes s'y retrouvent durant 9 jours à la fin mars ou au début avril.

Fri-Son
Fri-Son (Fribourg, Switzerland) is a present-day music club, which exists since 1983. Ever since the beginning the venue welcomed over international and national artists - amongst them Nirvana, The Gun Club, Nico, Melvins, The Young Gods, Beastie Boys, Cat Power, Muse, Sonic Youth, Phoenix, Grizzly Bear - and way over 1 million visitors. It is managed by a nonprofit organisation called « Fri-Son ». The principal goal is to offer an agenda, subtly balanced between new discoveries and iconic figures of the local and international current musical scene. Fri-Son hosts more than spectators a year and allows to more than 110 swiss and international bands to perform either on the big stage (up to 1200 people) or on the small one (up to 300 people). The arrangement and adaptability of the venue enable to organise, more than 130 events per year, amongst which: live gigs, special artistic events, cinema, dj nights.

Caribana débute en 1989, sur la parcelle du port de Crans, lorsqu’un groupe d’amis décide d’organiser un événement musical. Cette première édition, entièrement gratuite, propose un samedi soir à l’ambiance chaude et tropicale. Caribana est né. Die Kulturfabrik Kofmehl Solothurn existiert seit 1992 und verzeichnet mittlerweile rund Besucherinnen und Besucher pro Jahr. Gegen 250 Helferinnen und Helfer sorgen zum grössten Teil ehrenamtlich dafür, dass in der Kulturfabrik Kofmehl während 10 Monaten pro Jahr rund 200 Anlässe mit buntem, vielfältigen und spannendem Programm stattfinden können. International bekannte Künstler wie Die Ärzte, Shaggy, Beatsteaks, The Hives, Stereophonics, Stone Sour, Archive, Sunrise Avenue, In Extremo, 2Raumwohnung, Jan Delay, Editors, Culcha Candela und Wir Sind Helden traten bereits im Kofmehl auf. Auch die Sportfreunde Stiller, As I Lay Dying, Sepultura, John Mayall, Barclay James Harvest, Maxïmo Park, Bloody Beetroots, 2 Many DJs, Bring Me The Horizon, The Baseballs, Mothers Finest und viele weitere standen bereits auf der Kofmehlbühne. Die Kulturfabrik Kofmehl fördert auch das junge (noch) unbekannte Musikschaffen. Die kleinere Bühne in der Raumbar bietet den idealen Rahmen. Neben Konzerten finden in der Kulturfabrik Kofmehl auch Discos, Lesungen, Filmnächte, Kleinkunst- & Comedyanlässe, Workshops, Fussballübertragungen, Politpodien, Theatervorführungen und Jams statt. Das Herzstück des Kofmehls ist das grosse, ehrenamtliche Team, welches in die Bereiche Technik (Ton & Licht), Gastronomie, Einkauf, Programmation, Künstlerbetreuung, Grafik, Werbung, Dekoration, Catering, IT, Administration, Reinigung, Infrastruktur und Sicherheit aufgeteilt ist. Im Jahr 2003 wurde der Kulturfabrik Kofmehl vom Regierungsrat des Kantons Solothurn der Anerkennungspreis für Kulturvermittlung (“kantonaler Kulturpreis”) verliehen.

Afterseason Festival
3 days of partying on a dancefloor perched at 1'800 m of altitude with a panoramic view of the Dents du Midi. The Afterseason is an electronic music festival. It takes place in the middle of the mountain in the heart of the slopes. For its 9th edition, it will take place over three days, from 31 March to 2 April 2023. In addition to an open air space, a heated tent with a capacity of 1400 festival-goers and transparent curtains will be set up for the weekend on the terrace of Bretaye 1808.

Contrechamps est un ensemble de solistes spécialisé dans la création, le développement et la diffusionde la musique instrumentale des XXe et XXIe siècles, depuis plus de quarante ans. L’Ensemble s’engage à décloisonner et mettre en valeur la diversité des esthétiques et des actrices et acteurs de la scène contemporaine et expérimentale. Depuis sa création, l’Ensemble Contrechamps collabore étroitement avec un grand nombre de compositrices, compositeurs, cheffes, chefs et artistes. On peut citer Rebecca Saunders, Pierre Boulez, Chiyoko Szlavnics, Christine Sun Kim, Michael Jarrell, Jacques Demierre, Abril Padilla, Heinz Holliger, Elena Schwarz, Vimbayi Kaziboni, Pierre-Laurent Aimard ou Donatienne Michel-Dansac parmis tant d’autres. L’ensemble met également en valeur ses ses musiciens et musiciennes titulaires dans leur talents spécifiques et multiples. L’ensemble développe des nouveaux formats de présentation : concerts installatifs, radiophoniques laboratoires de recherche ou tournée virtuelle. Il propose une identité hybride entre orchestre et compagnie, adaptant son fonctionnement aux impératifs artistiques et aux propositions des créatrices et créateurs. Un partenariat avec la Haute école de musique de Genève prend tout son sens dans ce contexte pour rester en contact avec les idées les plus fraiches, et transmettre une expertise à travers les générations. Reconnu pour son travail et invité des scènes internationales, Contrechamps fréquente le Festival d’Automne à Paris, le Festival de Salzbourg, MaerzMusik à Berlin, le Festival de Lucerne, la Biennale de Venise ou l’ICA à Londres. L’Ensemble collabore avec de nombreux partenaires à Genève dont La Bâtie, Archipel, le Grand Théâtre, l’Ensemble Vide, l’OCG, le Théâtre Am Stram Gram, l’ADC, la Cave12 ou la Cathédrale Saint-Pierre. Les scènes suisses de la Gare du Nord de Bâle, Tohnalle Maag de Zürich ou Arsenic de Lausanne ne sont pas en reste.

The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra is the orchestra in residence at the KKL Lucerne and the opera orchestra of the Lucerne Theatre. Sinfonieorchester Basel
Die Süddeutsche Zeitung bringt es auf den Punkt: «Man muss das Sinfonieorchester Basel einmal mit seinem Chefdirigenten Ivor Bolton erlebt haben, dann weiss man, wozu dieses fabelhafte Orchester in der Lage ist.» In eigenen Konzertreihen, im Theater Basel sowie bei Gastspielen im In- und Ausland beweist der innovative Klangkörper immer wieder aufs Neue seine hohe Klangkultur. Eine ganze Reihe bedeutender Werke des 20. Jahrhunderts wurden vom Sinfonieorchester Basel uraufgeführt, preisgekrönte CD-Aufnahmen dokumentieren das Schaffen des Orchesters. Seit August 2020 spielt das Sinfonieorchester Basel wieder an seinem Stammhaus, dem glanzvoll renovierten Stadtcasino Basel. Chefdirigent seit der Saison 2016/2017 ist der Brite Ivor Bolton. Unter den Dirigenten, die dem Sinfonieorchester Basel eng verbunden waren oder es noch sind, finden sich Namen wie Johannes Brahms, Felix Weingartner, Gustav Mahler, Wilhelm Furtwängler, Gary Bertini, Walter Weller, Armin Jordan, Horst Stein, Otto Klemperer, Nello Santi, Pierre Boulez, Mario Venzago und Dennis Russell Davies. Seit einigen Jahren zeigt das Sinfonieorchester Basel zunehmend auch internationale Präsenz, zuletzt mit UK-Tourneen 2014, 2015 und 2017, der ‹Far East Tour› im Frühling 2015, einer Europatournee mit David Garrett im März 2017, einer Deutschlandtournee mit Jonas Kaufmann im Januar 2019, einer ‹Prometheus- Tournee› mit Peter Simonischek im Frühjahr 2020 anlässlich des Beethoven-Jubiläums sowie einer Österreich-Tournee im Mai 2024.

Berner Kammerorchester
Das Berner Kammerorchester pflegt seit seiner Gründung 1938 das klassische Repertoire und setzt parallel dazu einen Schwerpunkt in der Aufführung und Vermittlung neuer Schweizer Musik. Bemerkenswert sind die spannenden Kombinationen mit anderen Bereichen wie Tanz, Volksmusik und Jazz. Seit der Saison 2012/13 ist Philippe Bach Chefdirigent des BKO. Es kamen zahlreiche Uraufführungen namhafter Komponisten zustande wie zum Beispiel von Sandor Veress, Albert Moeschinger, Willy Burkhardt, Arthur Furer und Alfred Zimmerlin. Neben Konzerten mit renommierten SolistInnen wie Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Thomas und Patrick Demenga, Mirijam Contzen oder Julia Schröder ist die Zusammenarbeit mit jungen Talenten dem BKO ein wichtiges Anliegen. Mit der Hochschule der Künste Bern als Partner werden gezielt junge KünstlerInnen gefördert. Das Berner Kammerorchester ist ein gern gesehener Gast bei verschiedenen Festivals und ist mit Gastspielen in der ganzen Schweiz präsent. Das Berner Kammerorchester wird von der Stadt Bern, von der Burgergemeinde Bern, vom Kanton Bern und von der Regionalkonferenz Bern Mittelland unterstützt und erhält Förderbeiträge von verschiedenen Stiftungen und Partnern.

From the beginning of the 2018/19 concert season (October 2018), we will be performing our concerts under the “City Light Concerts” label (previously “21st Century Concerts”). With around a dozen projects annually in Switzerland and in neighboring countries, our concert agency organizes around 30 concerts per season (from October to May), the majority of which take place in the renowned concert hall at KKL Lucerne. The focus is on the live performance of film music. The seasonal program gains additional facets with classical concerts and symphonic cross-over projects together with well-known artists. We previously collaborated with orchestras and artists such as the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, the Sinfonieorchester Basel, the Sinfonietta Lausanne, the Bamberg Symphoniker, the Kammerorchester Basel, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, soprano Regula Mühlemann and pianist Khatia Buniatishvili.

Fcma- Fondation Chanson Et Musiques Actuelles
Fondée en 1997, la Fondation est née de la volonté d’apporter une aide aux artistes qui s’expriment au sein du large paysage divers et varié des “musiques actuelles”. Auteur-e-s, interprètes, qu’ils et elles s’expriment en solo ou en groupe via un album, des concerts, une tournée: très vite, les artistes se dévoilent au public et se battent “avec les moyens du bord”. La Fondation CMA s’engage au quotidien pour leur en donner les moyens. As well as supporting new projects with established artists, a lot of work and effort goes into an artist's career development. The labels sound, if there is such a thing, is impossible to pigeonhole. Joy and creativity shouldn't be squeezed into a genre-bound compartment. In releases, Creaked pays special attention to bringing the listener the original emotion of the work, and also delights the eye by working with local and international graphic artists on cover design.
